According to these two Democrats and other Fellow Travelers, the ice will melt from global warming before the ship could possibly be built.

Shouldn’t they be building a water refrigeration ship. With all the GW settled science the Great Lakes must be close to boiling.

Global warming reduces need for ice breaking equipment. By 2030 palm trees with furnish in Detroit, Green Bay will be the new Spring Break Hot spot for college kids.

NO!! Refrigeration and air conditioning are two of the boogeymen of global warming! The Elites want a world where the common folk have to get their meals from a central cafeteria and can go sit in an air conditioned room for an hour as a reward for exceeding production quotas (if we have the right skin color or gender, of course).

If you meet the 5-year plan production quotas do you think 2 hours in air conditioning would be approved by the central committee?

Ice has disrupted shipping every year since there was shipping on the great lakes.

Probably not. If you are on track to meet your 5-year goal, then the goals will be adjusted at next year’s production meeting so that you will suddenly find yourself scrambling to keep up.

Oh wait....that’s how it works now in the corporate world.

The congress should fire back: “According to State policy, global warming will ensure the lakes are never frozen. Request denied.”

We *really* need a huge-ass snowmobile to tow wheeled barges across, when it’s like it has been the past couple of years.
