Obama rambles on, saying nothing specific, only very vague generalities (such as "ISIL is evil..."). His comments are sometimes disjointed. He just cannot think on his feet.

A reporter then asks a TOUGH question (such as "Did you underestimate ISIS?" - note ISIS, not Obama's ISIL).

Obama looks irritated by the question, and makes a sour face. He then gives a flip answer. Very vague and very long, as before.

Then comes an occasional "don't blame islam" comment.

Repeat the above, over and over.

You would learn NOTHING new from the conference, except that reporters are starting to ask truly tough questions. Perhaps Paris has scared them straight, at least for a time.

That was part of the problem. There was no teleprompter that I could see. So he was without his only advantage, and was forced to fall back on long, rambling, and worthless generalities.

But it was his obvious annoyance at the questions that really made this press conference different. I can't see how even a Democrat could defend his performance there.

He is unable to admit his policies have led us here. He is unable or unwilling to answer a single question in less than 1000 words. He lectures incessantly, as if he is talking to college students. He is obviously tired of trying to explain himself to lesser beings of lesser intelligence.
