On Tuesday's Breitbart News Daily (6AM-9AM ET on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125), one of the nation's top immigration experts said GOP presidential candidates and debate moderators never want to discuss how many legal immigrants America should actually admit.
Jon Feere of the Center for Immigration Studies told host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon that though only 7% of the country is calling for an increase in legal immigration, "everyone that's wandering the halls of Congress out here in D.C. is lobbying for more, more, more immigration at all costs."
-snip-
Feere also pointed out that one of the questioners in tonight's debate is from the Wall Street Journal, which until 9/11 ran an editorial that called for a new Constitutional amendment-"there shall be open borders."
"The belief is that the American people should have no control over our legal immigration system," Feere said. "I think that's completely ridiculous. We're a sovereign nation. We're a sovereign people. We have the right to decide how much legal immigration we shall have, and yet these policy makers and some of these editorial board writers just believe that Americans don't have that authority."

Trump will bring it up anyway. Count on it.
WSJ = Open Borders = Murdoch = SCUM.
“Trump will bring it up anyway. Count on it.”
Go Trump Go
-Typical Congressman
Nothing wrong with LEGAL immigration.
In fact Trump should SAY THAT over and over.
And remind the LEGAL immigrants that the ILLEGALS are the ones causing all the problems.
FBN being a Chamber of Commerce shill this is no surprise.
Legal immigration is NOT the problem!
The unemployment rate says there IS something wrong with Legal Immigration for a few decades at least.
The insiders and the movers are trying to stave off the implosion until it's on somebody else's watch.
let’s not be total trolls here... we have an election to win
That's why he doesn't like Trump....Trump isn't owned by anyone, he might have to ‘play nice’ sometimes to get things done, but once he has the deal he moves on....leaves these simpletons in his dust....
How about a debate on how many illegals there are?
Well, when a lady from Honduras claims there are spooky gangs in her neighborhood and she comes here with her 4 children and her neighbors 6 children and Obama calls it Asylum that is LEGAL. There are many abuses of LEGAL Immigration.
I do not wish Murdoch any harm. I like Aussies in general. But it is ridiculous that he have any say in American immigration policy.
Immigration of all kinds is holding down wages of americans.

Trump has been doing that, his “big beautiful door in the wall” metaphor is him dumbing it down (sadly he seems to be dumbing it down, not that I blame him for doing so).
Murdoch is trashing Trump in the WSJ and Fox News every day because his stance on illegals. He is my enemy. You can judge him for yourself.
Yup. The title should read “....except Trump who is not beholden to any donors”. He’s already talked about reducing legal immigration until they have assimilated and Americans have jobs.
The problem is that importing 3rd world illiterates and their massive families takes mire from the system than they put in. Taxpayers have to educate, feed, house, and provide medical to their kids and their elderly parents and grandparents get SSI without having paid in a dime.
And Social security is highly socialized. The low earners take out much more than they ever put in, subsidized by the high earners who are screwed. (If anyone wants help deciding to quit working, I’ll help with your SS numbers. Seeing how much he’d pay in and how little mire he’d get back helped hubby decide to go Galt.)
So lots of highly educated motivated immigrants is what’s needed. And not what we’re getting. Even legal immigrants use government handouts much more than any other group.
