RICHMOND — The father of the Roanoke TV reporter fatally shot during a live broadcast last summer apologized Thursday for harsh Facebook messages that prompted a pro-gun legislator from southwest Virginia to call law enforcement authorities.
"In my grief over the murder of my daughter and my anger over a political system that allows incidents like that to continue, I spoke regrettably," Andy Parker said in a message issued by a gun-control group that has featured him in a $2.2 million TV ad campaign. "I apologize for my words, but make no mistake, I will continue to seek justice and change as a father in memory of my daughter."

This father, who on the very day his daughter was killed was in front of news cameras (as was her boyfriend), has problems. I think he might be a malignant narcissist, at least he's acting like he's one.
In this story, the young woman killed, this man's daughter, is mentioned only once and it's in the description of a campaign video featuring the father's face. In the 30 sec video the father mentions his slain daughter's name one time.
I'd like to say here, her name was ALLISON PARKER. No quote of the father's in the article mentions her name.

IIRC, this story and its aftermath in regular whining media has all but disappeared because the perpetrator was black.

Do local or state politicians have to contact every victim of a murder or even those who are lost in our wars? I don’t remember if my mother heard from anyone during Nam, but I bet daddy dearest wouldn’t have sent my mother condolences either.
When the father and boyfriend showed up on television the day of the murder it was obvious that there was something off with both of them. I didn’t know if they they were simply out to make a buck or maybe worse. I would stay away from these guys.
And, apparently, a homosexual prostitute.
That story sure did disappear from the news very quickly.

This gun grabber is a basket case and was even before his daughter was tragically murdered. He made a statement that he has made enemies so he might have to buy a gun for protection. Imagine... a gun grabber deciding he needs to buy a gun for protection. Yet it still doesn’t sink in.
My exact feelings. It was bizarre seeing them both preaching to an audience on TV within hours of her murder.
So from what I read the idiots threats empowered Stanley and his wife to obtain concealed carry permits ...... awesome. Socialists gun up 2 more citizens and make them safer !!

I know that people process grief in different ways but I remember his reaction and his eagerness to get in front of a camera. Something just ain’t right with him.
