The actual poll here with cross tabs.

Looks legit.

The ONLY thing they don't mention is how they identified the 574 respondents.

Did they call 5,000 people to narrow down to Likely GOP Caucus goers?

Or, did somebody hand them a list?

Hard to believe this.

I think Carson is on the wane.

Noticed he does better with women.

Could they feel funnier saying they’re not voting black.

Does the maternal instinct favor an amiable doctor over a ruthless tycoon?

Rand Paul is beating Bush!? Pretty soon Bush isn’t going to be allowed in the prime time debates.

Strong evangelicals and strong conservatives are more likely to support Carson.

If you look at the internals (link at bottom the results page), you’ll notice that they knowingly increased the percentage of those groups from the sep 11 poll to this poll?

Why, if they know that those groups are more likely to back Carson?

My daughters mother in-law says she’s either voting for Hillary or Carson

I guess his much criticized book hiatus is actually working. Perhaps if he suspended his campaign all together he will get a clear majority.

I don’t think anyone knows what is going on and a sample of 575 people has to have a relatively high margin of error.

I do like what Dr. Carson has to say. His lack of experience putting conservativism in to practice, is where I have a problem with him though.

As an indicator of who will eventually get elected Iowa is a big fat zero. I really don’t know why politicians spend so much time and money to win it!!

The best thing that could happen for the Democrats is that Trump would win. Those who not never vote for him would be stuck with no option. Trump, the fraud, faux conservative would have helped Hillary win, which many of us think is goal anyway.

Anyone who says to a robber to turn his weapon on the guy behind the counter shows lack character. Carson will never get this household’s votes. The more he talks, the more I suspect he’s lying.

Trump turns out the crowds in Iowa and it's no leap that they will show up to caucus for Trump. The rest of the other candidates cannot do it like Trump.

If hanky-panky was going on which is very possible since Q-Kiddie pollsters are still very liberal, and/or to make new headlines.

Did they call 5,000 people to narrow down to Likely GOP Caucus goers?

Or, did somebody hand them a list?

That's possible too.

After polling Iowa for sometime, they would know who to call back in a later poll to skew in the direction they want. It's very easy to do.

Name the last time a candidate who won Iowa (republican) went on to win the nomination. Iowa is of nearly no matter at all.

> “Looks legit.”

You just made yourself ridiculous.

The only poll that matters is how many show up on primary day to vote.

It takes a conscious committed effort to take the time to vote. It takes barely any energy to respond to a poll.

More than 8,000 ‘showed up’ at a Trump rally in Iowa yesterday. Showing up to a rally is a serious indicator of a person’s commitment and passion for a cause, unless they were paid which was not the case yesterday.

It was reported that those more than 8,000 that showed up are the largest crowd at that venue in history.

Those more than 8,000 are a far larger indication of sentiment than a poll of 574 unknowns who were selected from women and evangelicals, with likely double counting.

I smell a Rove.

Rovians will need to turn every poll around to create a narrative of Trump no longer the frontrunner. Let’s see them do it. I expect a massive fail.

So Trump leads in most states except Iowa and maybe Wisconsin. Not too shabby and he still gets the nomination if it stays that way througout. Trump-hater freepers heads are gonna explode.

If Trump loses Iowa, it is very good news for Trump.

McCain & Romney both lost Iowa and went on to win nomination.
