If Trump loses Iowa, it is very good news for Trump.

McCain & Romney both lost Iowa and went on to win nomination.

Neither McCain or Romney campaigned much in Iowa, and it didn’t hurt.

On the other hand, Giuliani and Jeb ignored Iowa, and that didn’t work out so well.
