We’re there Mexicans flying planes into the Towers?

The point is that Bush’s focus was on LETTING BAD GUYS IN, not KEEPING BAD GUYS OUT.

I just don’t like any implication that the Presidency is some sort of monarchy;

**************

Correct that we have three branches of gov’t each with their own scope of governance.
IMO Trump needs to get off this tactic and get to current events and future plans that the
voting public will be more interested in. It’s easy to say I’d have been better but that’s
a point that can’t be proven but will alienate some of the voting public. JMO

AUGUST ‘01 BRIEF IS SAID TO WARN OF ATTACK PLANS

President Bush was told more than a month before the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, that supporters of Osama bin Laden planned an attack within the United States with explosives and wanted to hijack airplanes, a government official said Friday.

The warning came in a secret briefing that Mr. Bush received at his ranch in Crawford, Tex., on Aug. 6, 2001. A report by a joint Congressional committee last year alluded to a ‘’closely held intelligence report’’ that month about the threat of an attack by Al Qaeda, and the official confirmed an account by The Associated Press on Friday saying that the report was in fact part of the president’s briefing in Crawford.

The disclosure appears to contradict the White House’s repeated assertions that the briefing the president received about the Qaeda threat was ‘’historical’’ in nature and that the White House had little reason to suspect a Qaeda attack within American borders.

Are you challenged mentally? There was no Intel for Bush to hear regarding the 9/11 attacks because Frank Church, Jamie Gorelick, Clinton et Al fubared the Intel community.

Dang yawl people are starting to sound like Obucketofpuke, the blame Bush Crowd.

It happened and our dang immigration policies were broke way before President Bush came into office.

Now, what happened to that Faux News boycott that Trump was on?

Did he reverse his view on that already?

Now is he going to change his view on immigration?

How about the “wall” after he is elected?

What about his 4 page tax plan? Will that change after he is elected?

Lol. Are you kidding me ? I posted here in 1998 that bin Laden was going to try to attack us here in America. Did I have actionable Intel? No. You should post at DU.

I will vote for Donald if he gets the nomination. (of course)

But he's usually a very direct person.
So he's pussy footing around right now.

I'm sure he find more to do in the way of bashing Jeb.

When he says he's not blaming 911 on President Bush, it sure doesn't come across that way.
Because President Bush isn't running this time around.

And if he's going to speak about 911, he should be speaking about all of the presidents who did nothing, even after Americans were murdered in attacks.

Because there's plenty to talk about.

“Billious” Clinton spent his terms boinking the ladies. A
lot of stuff escaped his radar if it wasn’t foolishness.
He was distracted.

So there were no Mexicans flying planes into the towers on 9/11. Bush failed at securing the border after 9/11 imo. That iissue has no relevance to his responsibility for 9/11. One is valid, the other is left wing loon bs.

Did the 9-11 terrorists enter the U.S. by walking across our southern border? How did they get in here?

That’s all that needs to be said, followed by: “...and draw your own conclusions.”

Thinking people will figure it out.

On the other hand, those who allow their emotions to do their thinking for them...

You are purposely ignoring the point.

The point is: what was Bush’s #1 priority on Feb, 2001.

IT WAS NOT LOOKING FOR BAD GUY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!

In fact, it was JUST THE OPPOSITE.

This is well BEFORE 9/11.

You are ignoring that point.

You are ignoring that point.

You are ignoring that point.

I believe the 9/11 hijackers entered the US via student visas.

“Jeb’s body language is disturbing. He wags his head back and forth when he talks as though denying everything he is saying.”

Thanks for that observation; it prompted watching the video a couple of times. It appears he was coached to attempt subtle, subliminal suggestions via body language. Alas for the coach or coaches, Yeb is the type of doofus to pronounce the ‘b’ in ‘subtle’.

He shakes his head (too rapidly and too overtly) no matter what he is saying when he is discussing Trump. Then he immediately switches to nodding like a bobble head tshotshke in the rear window when speaking of himself or his spin.

The net result is that Yeb! looks like a palsied chihuahua. We won’t see this again, no more than the tip-toe tulip maneuver.

This is painful to say, but Yeb! is so fake, and so synthetic and awkward of a personality construct, that by comparison he makes Bishop Willard look authentic and sincere.

True but the entire guv was taken by surprise on 9-11.
As to the fall out of Trump’s words about GW, everyone is piling on and Trump is already trying to rephrase his comments.

I state again Trump is his own worst enemy. If he loses this race it will be cause he can’t keep his big fat NYC mouth shut. He will let down millions of Americans.
Of course there is a difference between supporters of Trump and the mindless followers. The mindless ones will cover for him no matter what and they’d drink muslim vomit if ordered.
