A coalition of Hispanic advocacy groups is calling on "Saturday Night Live" to uninvite Donald Trump from the show because of his inflammatory remarks about minorities.
The National Hispanic Leadership Agenda said it is "flabbergasted" that NBC Universal is having the 2016 Republican front-runner on its Nov. 7 show, even after he has failed to apologize for remarks calling some Mexicans who entered the country illegally rapists and criminals, the Associated Press reported.
The group wrote in a letter to NBC University CEO Stephen Burke and "SNL" executive producer Lorne Michaels that having Trump on the show is only encouraging his "hateful speech" ....

I would hope that the Associated Press would take the time to outline, in 25 words or less, just what and who are the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda? Do they represent legal or illegal immigrants? Do their leaders actually represent their constituencies? Or, like unions, do the leaders have a leftist agenda contrary to the people they supposedly represent?
Are they a legitimate group or a front group for leftists? I do not know.
I do know that what Trump said was true; many illegal immigrants are law breakers who deal drugs, rape, murder, and commit all sorts of felonies.
The Associated Press could also repeat the words of Trump, rather than suggest that his remarks were inflammatory and untrue. The Associated Press could provide statistics on crimes committed by illegals, numbers or percentages of convicted criminal illegals filling our jails (30%?).
Would it be asking too much for the AP to start providing responsible journalism?

The Democrats need to know—Brown isn’t the New Black. Unlike The African-American Community—Latinos are a vast group—from Cubans to Mexicans, to south Americans and even Spanish. They are not a lock step group—No slavery card—they are not Racists (well at least not all of them) They can be conservative on Religion and the Family. There is a deep tradition of having a strongman—a Cid—to run things and set things to right. Trump fits that bill. In the end he might do better than they think with Latinos.
