Mr. Obama’s legacy and how much a Democratic successor should embrace it will hover over the debate, even as Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator Bernie Sanders and the other Democratic candidates put forth their specific policy proposals and promises.

“It is an existential moment,” said Jon Cowan, a former Bill Clinton administration official who is now president of the centrist think tank Third Way. “If you stand back far enough entering this debate,” he added, “you’ll see the Democratic Party they’re asking to lead, and there’s no question it has moved to the left.”

Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Sanders promise different approaches from Mr. Obama’s, as much in style as in substance.

This is illustrative of why the Republican candidates ought to focus on tying Hillary and Bernie to Obama, and the bigger picture - things like red states are growing and blue states are shrinking, etc......instead of nit picking each other.

If anyone watched that narcissistic POS on 60 Minutes it was plainly obvious he got pissed off because a white man (Kroft) was questioning his judgment about Syria. When Putin was mentioned he seemed to almost lose it several times. They also removed / edited the scene out (which was in the trailer) where Obama said in a mean spirited tone, Iis that all you got”? and revealed his fangs. It was a very telling facial expression which revealed the depth of evil and hatred in the man. But they didn’t air it other than the trailer.
