Fighting Back Against the Truest Enemies of Liberty(Vanity)

You know, I heard on the incredible radio program of Bob Burney today, which I don't listen to nearly enough, what took place last night in Oklahoma. In the dead of the night, they cowardly removed a Ten Commandments monument from the state capitol grounds. When you do this at 10:30 at night, yes those are the actions of cowards. I'm reading these days in Deuteronomy, as some of you who listen to my modest Blog Talk show may be aware. What does God instruct in Deuteronomy Chapter 27, the first 8 verses? He instructs His people to keep His commandments, ALL of them, and to write all the words of the law and to set up an altar for sacrifice at the location He instructs them. He said, "When you go into the land I have prepared for you, the first two things you are to do is set up a monument with My law written on it and set up an altar to work out your forgiveness and (temporary) covering for sin with Me when you fall short of that law. This is something that to one extent or another our people continued to do generation after generation, even in coming to this country. We have archaeological evidence and artifacts of "decalogue stones"- stones enscribed in Ancient Hebrew with the 10 Commandments in this country which were discovered in New Mexico and even here in the state of Ohio. When the Pilgrims and the Puritans came over here and settled this land and established cities and colonies, what was the first thing they did when they settled Jamestown? Well, conventional history might not tell you this, but the first thing they did when they settled Jamestown was they erected a cross. This is why it is believed by some that the actual Jamestown settlement that one can supposedly visit as tourists isn't the actual literal spot that Jamestown was founded. They moved the "official spot" a few miles away because of the presence of that cross in the original Jamestown. We as a Christian nation and we as a Christian majority are allowing an incredibly well organized and determined minority of secular humanists to dictate where, when, how, and under what circumstances we can express our faith and belief in God- especially our faith and belief in Jesus Christ and the God of the Bible. We don't have to put up with it if we only fight back. But the problem is we ourselves have become, sadly, a nation of cowards when it comes to this. We can't spare the time, the money, or the embarrassment of admitting, "Yes we'll stand for God and we'll stand for the Bible." Shame on us. Shame on us for DENYING Jesus Christ before men. Do you think He'll bless us for that? I say you'd better think again. And we don't know and we don't learn from our world history. When the Communists took control in Russia they went after two things. Yes, they went after guns. But that was the SECOND thing they went after. The FIRST thing they went after was faith in God and religion in the public square. As a matter of fact the VERY FIRST thing they did was to move to get God out of their schools under the concept of "separation of church and state". After that it was trying to recruit atheist teachers and using the media and entertainment industry to try to stigmatize and mock any belief in God. Does this seem familiar? It should, because it's being played out all over again in this country by the same people- children of Satan- whatever and however they choose to identify themselves. They're children of the devil and they are enemies of liberty and basic goodness in every sense of the word, no matter what they claim. God has richly blessed this nation in more ways than most would say we deserve in all honesty. But we can't count on those blessings forever when we turn aside from His ways. The good news is the blessings are there always for individuals who continue to follow after Him, and with repentance there's hope for anyone- individuals or nations. But we have to do it. We have to stand. We have to fight. We have to say enough is enough.

Paragraphs are your friends.

You know, I heard on the incredible radio program of Bob Burney today, which I don’t listen to nearly enough, what took place last night in Oklahoma.

In the dead of the night, they cowardly removed a Ten Commandments monument from the state capitol grounds. When you do this at 10:30 at night, yes those are the actions of cowards.

I’m reading these days in Deuteronomy, as some of you who listen to my modest Blog Talk show may be aware. What does God instruct in Deuteronomy Chapter 27, the first 8 verses? He instructs His people to keep His commandments, ALL of them, and to write all the words of the law and to set up an altar for sacrifice at the location He instructs them. He said, “When you go into the land I have prepared for you, the first two things you are to do is set up a monument with My law written on it and set up an altar to work out your forgiveness and (temporary) covering for sin with Me when you fall short of that law.

This is something that to one extent or another our people continued to do generation after generation, even in coming to this country. We have archaeological evidence and artifacts of “decalogue stones”- stones enscribed in Ancient Hebrew with the 10 Commandments in this country which were discovered in New Mexico and even here in the state of Ohio.

So is sarcasm.

But true enough. Unfortunately, Facebook isn’t conducive to paragraphs, since sometimes hitting “enter” just leads to Facebook posting whatever you just typed.

And when I’m copying and pasting, I’m too lazy and going to quickly to proofread. ;)

Not to worry, even proofreading is no guarantee. Many’s the time I’ve posted something and found several “aw crap”s inside afterwards.

Life is hard, then you die. Get used to it. That’s what I used to tell the boys, and I still live that way.

G_d bless.
