Poll shows Trump, Fiorina, and almost any Republican beating Hillary in IA badly
NBC/Wall St. Journal ^ | 10/5/2015 | Mark Murray

Trump 48/41, Bush 50/40, Fiorina 52/38.

Poll has Hillary over Trump in NH, 48-45, losing to Bush and Fiorina.

Sanders beats Trump by 5 in IA, trails Bush by 2, Fiorina by 3; and in NH he beats Trump by 10 while beating Fiorina by 2 and is tied with Bush.

All this said, this is pretty common of a guy who doesn't have the nomination, who is the "surging underdog," but who, as soon as he really is "the guy," would fade badly.

It's also pretty common for people to pick lower tier candidates who haven't yet been exposed to the national media bashing yet (Bush and Fiorina). Were one of them to lead, the bloodletting would be intense.

Iowa is a liberal freak hangout. Why we set this as a priority win is crazy. If you win, fine, but why set yourself up for the fall when NH and SC are the keys.

I see Carson taking Iowa.

Another poll with an agenda. We are supposed to conclude that Trump is the weakest candidate against Hillary or Sanders.

Until the Reps have a candidate who will then train his/her guns against the Dem nominee, these polls are hypothetical. It is another example of the MSM trying to select the Rep candidate for us. They did it with McCain and once he was the nominee, they destroyed him.

All this tells me is that Hillary is toast and Biden is going to the Dem nominee.

They only have these issues:

1. War on women
2. Climate change
3. Racism

These issues are tired and when one of their own gets in (”zero” for example), they get worse for the persons who voted for them.

Demographics? Wording of questions? Polls seem to be MSM trying to tell us who to vote for. It sure hasn’t worked well to get conservatives elected. The MSM pushes those we don’t want.

RE “They did it with McCain and once he was the nominee, they destroyed him.”

He pretty much destroyed himself. Didn’t need any help from the media.

They have tried everything, including the kitchen sink, to smear, knock down Trump....the latest is using his wife's past...

This is your main stream media, RINOs, GOPee’s and talking heads trying to rig this election to what they want...

As we say, time and time again, this is OUR election, the people are tired of the ‘back room deals’, the lying, the ‘pay offs’ and everything else they condone...we are NOT going to let them do it this time...

We need to stay strong on their smears, their lies, and underhanded blackmail deals...if they want to go with Bush, Hillary, Biden, Carly or anyone else, go smear them, but keep your hands off of Trump...you don't understand who is behind him and how powerful of a group of followers he has, and we will stop you!!!

The MSM portrayed McCain as the strongest Rep candidate against Obama using polls. It was a meme that McCain used to get the nomination. McCain got the nomination with only 33% of the primary vote.

I remember it painfully well.

What I’m saying is that he didn’t put up ANY fight. And when conservatives came to his defense against attacks from O and the dem media allies, McCain himself went ballistic about it, accusing us of being racists, etc.

His treatment and lack of defense of Sarah Palin was reprehensible.

He was prepared to lose before he even got the nomination.

We got played.

Yeah,I think you’re correct. And that’s NOT a good thing either; many people here think Biden is a buffoon based on the phoney press accounts of his supposed “gaffs”, most of which amount to simply telling the truth when he’s supposed to be lying.

Biden basically out-debated the supposed genius debater Paul Ryan during the last VP debate, and fundamentally, Biden would be a smart and ruthless candidate if the Rat powers can pressure him into running, and would be MUCH more of a threat than the inept and severely self-damaged Hillary.

Well, if the GOPe somehow manages to nuke Trump in favor of some RINO squish, the squish won’t have that problem this go around, because the conservatives are done defending RINO, establishment squishes.

“you don’t understand who is behind him and how powerful of a group of followers he has, and we will stop you!!!”

I keep posting the following on the Washington Post whenever they publish some “Trump must go” article:

“Note to GOP establishment leadership: you have been warned. If one of your precious lying, cringing, sold-out, PC, DC insider GOP establishment scum who continuously stabs we American workers in the back is nominated, I promise you ARE going to lose and lose big time. In case you haven’t noticed, the great unwashed masses of your “base” are in open revolt.”

Way too soon to project a winner in Iowa. But I agree that Republicans put too high a priority on the Iowa Caucus. Even Reagan didn't win the Iowa Caucus in 1980. Mike Huckabee won it in 2008! That tells you how useless it is as an indicator.

My gut feeling is that Trump will win all the primaries and caucuses by large margins. People are just so fed up with establishment politicians that they will be willing to cast their lot with Trump.

As for the other two non politicians, I don't see Carson or Fiorina catching fire like Trump has done. I think this nomination is Trump's to lose at this point.

OK, let’s show the same poll in battleground states -— Virginia, Michigan, Colorado, Ohio and Florida.
