Cruz Post-Debate Fundraising Haul Again Tops $1 Million…In Only 48 Hours

Grassroots Momentum Helps Cruz Top Previous Post-Debate Haul of $1M in 100 Hours

HOUSTON, Texas – In the first 48 hours following the second GOP presidential debate, the Cruz for President campaign has again seen a fundraising surge topping $1M in new monies raised.

The numbers are impressive:

“I am thrilled by the outpouring of financial support we’ve seen in such a short amount of time,” said Sen. Ted Cruz. “The American people are rising up and we are seeing an explosion of momentum. They want an outsider, someone who will stand up to career politicians from both parties and fight the Washington Cartel. They want real leadership from a consistent conservative, not a campaign conservative.”

Today’s fundraising announcement puts a capstone on a week of impressive grassroots momentum for the Cruz campaign. Yesterday, South Carolina State Representative Wendy Nanney became the 500th member among state leadership teams the Cruz campaign is building across the country.

Cruz’s strong debate performances, impressive fundraising hauls, and growing grassroots organizational strength stretching from the early primary states to the 3/1 SEC Primary states and beyond, have Cruz well-positioned to capture the Republican nomination.

Dear AFT, I was waving my pom-poms for you until you said:

Under certain conditions “we should vote for Biden.” I just could not do that. As I have said here several times, if Cruz is not on the ballot, I shall write in his name (hopefully, I’ll be able to do that). Maybe I’m being foolish.

You have made some strong points in your reply. I echo them.(excluding the Biden thing).

Cruz does not care about the way H1-Bs are or aren't dealt with. He just wants them, here.

He has NEVER said or done something to improve the handling of H1-Bs. But he has done something to increase the numbers, and the effect of the handling problem, by 500%.

What was his reason for his push for the TPA and the Corker amendment? He's apologized for the TPA and Judge Roberts pushes he's done, at least.

It seems Cruz is on the wrong side of a lot of votes. At some point, one has to wonder if he's stupid or incredibly naive or talentless. Of course, it could also be because he is pushing his wife's agenda as much as he can get away with...

Thanks for the succinct explanation of H1B. I just don’t think it is as troublesome nationwide as it may seem. Maybe certain geographical areas are more impacted?

Well, the Biden thing was basically a friendly shot at people who decide to support people based largely on polling. Now maybe that’s not entirely fair, and for a lot of people there probably is more to supporting Trump than just polling. But that’s nevertheless an argument I’ve heard more than once. “Cruz doesn’t have the numbers to win, but Trump does.”

Obviously, I would hope nobody here would vote for Biden.

Thank you though.

Now you just sound unhinged. Enjoy the rest of the day.

When someone posts an outrageous lie, it does make one pause. It is one thing to make a mistake, quite another to deliberately plant deception. Irksome.

At well-over 13,000 FR posts and 200+ thread creations, I am no sleeper.

I am a well-informed Cruz supporter holding him accountable. His campaign won't respond to me, a donor whose household has given him many hundreds of dollars, and I just want clarification on those things he hasn't apologized for, yet.

There are definitely some questions starting to swirl about the polling.

I saw Anita Moncreif talking about how the polling and social media can be manipulated. She didn’t name any names but says she sees patterns that are familiar to what she learned when she was on the left with ACORN. Things like making sure a name is repeated in every thread as often as possible, fake followers, Burying online polls under the weight of repeated votes. Apparently there are even aps for generating votes by the hundred for online polling.

Looks like Ted did some good fundraising. I wish I could give him more, but I need to buy new tires for my car this fall, and I have to save money.

Thanks! The H-1B visa has been around for a while. It turned into a problem I believe at the end of Clinton’s admin and the start of the Bush admin.

Oh, yes, I remember Anita from Acorn.

She should know and that is so encouraging. In spite of the fact, that I may sound like a nutcase...I firmly believe that. The results are too perplexing.

Cruz is always the smartest guy in the room and I don’t care what room it is.

Your accusations are baseless and superficial.

Cruz adds to his $14.3 mil in hard money, while his super pac has about $35mil.

Bush at an approximate, combined total of $120mil and all the other conventional candidates are likely wondering where the next buck will come from.

I suspect Fiorina (haven't looked) is financing her own "hard" campaign already...and many cannot afford to Travel to Iowa and New Hampshire.

And nobody knows how much Trump is willing to spend, keeping some donors on the sidelines.

If there are more than 5 candidates on the NH ballot come February, I'll be very surprised. Very.
