Very Politically Incorrect

There's a giant migration, emigration, refugee problem in Europe. What the United States has been dealing with in dribbles and drabs (relatively) the European nations are swimming in. And they are falling all over themselves, each other, and the hole in their thinking in failing to come up with realistic solutions.

The progressives in the United States think we should shoulder the burden of our own illegal immigrants willingly, openly, compassionately. But that isn't the real problem in Europe. Our immigration situation is at least shared with those who are our cultural brothers and sisters. The émigrés from the Middle East who flood Europe are at odds with almost everything for which European culture stands.

As usual, the debate in the European situation begins at square two--what do they do to care for all these desperate people who are moving away from wars, literally of their own making.

Of their own making? Yes, few, if any, of those fleeing did anything to stop ISIS or whoever else is making mincemeat of their people (Saddam, Khomeini, et. al.). How do we know they didn't do anything--because they are still there to flee. But, claim the defenders of those who flee, there were guns involved, and weapons of mass murder. That's how marauders and barbarians work...not indoctrination or even intimidation, but simple widespread murder. Those waging war in the Middle East supposedly have a reason, those who are in their way clearly have an excuse.

There are those who don't offer excuses, they offer resistance and refusal, they offer their principles, they fight--to the death if they have to. That is square one. "Who does that?" ask the politically correct. We did--in 1776. The French did not in 1940. The British did from 1939 to 1945. The Chinese did not in 1931.

In offering this solution (and remember the colonists fought in 1776 with shovels and broom handles and swords and knives as well as guns) no one is going out on a limb--we are at the end of the limb, sometimes one just is. On the 150th anniversary of the Bill of Rights Eleanor Roosevelt intoned "It is not fair to ask of others what you are not willing to do for yourself." She then wondered if she had lived her life in a worthy manner that reflected the honor of the men who were dying for her right to be free.

The refugees who are flooding Europe are there because they don't know how to fight, or, literally, why to fight, so they want others to do that for them. The fight is unfair they say, so they run. But all fights are unfair. The colonists in our history fought the most powerful nation on earth--that did not daunt them. And we live, humbly, in their shadow. This nation is free because people were willing to die for their beliefs and for eternal truths; were willing to die for others: their children, grandchildren.

Those who run from the fight with ISIS don't want freedom, they want a free ride. They want to throw themselves on the mercy of the welfare systems of the countries at whose doorsteps they cry for protection, while decrying the political systems and religious foundations and culture of their sought-after benefactors. The long-term conflict that will result from this situation is far worse than the immigration Europe faces today.

Who said life isn't fair? Oh yes, John F. Kennedy, and myriad leaders before him, back to Socrates. It surely isn't fair, and what is most unfair is for people to seek protection, succor, and life so they don't have to fight for themselves while asking others to die for them. This might sound harsh but that's because life can be harsh.

Can these folks really fight for themselves? You bet, they just need encouragement (what General George Patton used to call a kick in the pants) and materiel, of which we have plenty, and courage and principles.

If they lack the latter they will not earn their freedom, and freedom that is earned, not given or bestowed, is the only kind that counts. Real freedom is kept because it is paid for with real lives; that which is given is lost because the recipient never understands it in the first place

It is no fun being politically incorrect--it always nets slings and arrows--but sometimes it is just necessary when one is faced with reality. So, good luck, Europe. How's all that political correctness workin' for ya'?

We are talking about a culture of bullies and cowards.

Bullies that are pure hell on women and children; but drop their machine guns, tanks and missile launcher when an inferior force armed with pickup trucks full of half-wits, armed with pitchforks and sling-shots, drives up within view.

They then come to us, telling us to our face that they wish to kill or enslave us; unless we convert our lives, culture and government to comply with their miserably failed religion.

Do they come laden with skills we need? No.
Do they have money to sustain themselves while they invade us? No
Do they offer us anything of value, while they work to spread terror and force their failed value system upon us? Not at all.

Why don’t we all line up to get AIDS? It has nothing of value, and when it kills us, at least we won’t die slaves.

It is not an “immigration problem.”
It is a barbarian migration and needs to be dealt with as such.

Little Ray:" It is not an “immigration problem.”

It is the ultimate welfare tax " religious entitlement "called jizyra, except ..,
there is nothing religious about it !
It is totally an economic and political tax , under the guise of religion,
at a time of economic uncertainty in struggling European and North American financial instability.
If it was really refugees , there would be families , and that is simply and truthfully not the case in this migration .

Germany in particular (and Europe in general) is losing its identity. That is due in part to the EU and the Internet. But the invasion by migrants who have no intention of assimilating, contributing or cooperating is a dagger into their culture.

The inability and unwillingness of both the Europeans and Americans to step back and see the migrant invasions in perspective is deadly.

In America the left simply refuses to acknowledge the reality that the Latino migrants are unskilled, unappreciative, dishonest, unmotivated, unlawful and uncooperative. We spend countless billions of dollars and thousands of lives supporting people who despise us.

The Europeans are a long ways down the same path.

I could have added the same comment about our inner city population.

The women and children did not come along because they are either abandoned, dead, to be sent for later, or the invaders plan to seize women from the kuffars. In any case, they would have slowed the invasion.

This is a barbarian migration, just like the ones that destroyed Rome. And, for some reason, the historical illiterates can’t see this.

I agree !
Also , this also explains "Common Core" rewriting some , and ignoreing other meaningful parts of American History in the schools.
This is one of the dangers of centralized Federal education that informed people resist,
and thus prefer to 'home school' their kids.
History does repeat itself

Sounds like Europe has Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano and Jeh Johnson running their border security.

And by all accounts they are doing the same quality work for Europe that we have come to expect here in the USA.

Looking for POLITICALLY INCORRECT? Here ya’ go!

During the Friday, 9/18/15 edition of FNN’s “The Five”, the hosts were posed questions from viewers. Each was asked two questions. One question was “Who would you most like to interview?” The other was “Whose political campaign would you like to run?”

Kimberly’s G’s response to the first was “Winston Churchill. I just love Churchill.” To the second, her reply was “Carly Firorina” after which she mumbled something like “Yea Carly.”

Kimberly is a very bright gal, but I suspect she is missing some vital information relative to her two selections as they each clearly hold very, very different views on THE most important topic that has faced the West for over 1200 years.

Allow me to contrast them for you:

First Churchill’s words from his “The River War”when it was first published as a two-volume set in 1899. Unfortunately, THIS selection was removed when the book was condensed into one volume and republished in 1902. I can’t but wonder if a Muslim was involved in the later “edit” (aka “sanitizing”.)

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.

Contrast THAT with this from Ms. Fiorina in a speech she delivered in September, 2001, less than 2 weeks after 9/11.

There was once a civilization that was the greatest in the world.

It was able to create a continental super-state that stretched from ocean to ocean, and from northern climes to tropics and deserts. Within its dominion lived hundreds of millions of people, of different creeds and ethnic origins.

One of its languages became the universal language of much of the world, the bridge between the peoples of a hundred lands. Its armies were made up of people of many nationalities, and its military protection allowed a degree of peace and prosperity that had never been known. The reach of this civilization’s commerce extended from Latin America to China, and everywhere in between.

And this civilization was driven more than anything, by invention. Its architects designed buildings that defied gravity. Its mathematicians created the algebra and algorithms that would enable the building of computers, and the creation of encryption. Its doctors examined the human body, and found new cures for disease. Its astronomers looked into the heavens, named the stars, and paved the way for space travel and exploration.

Its writers created thousands of stories. Stories of courage, romance and magic. Its poets wrote of love, when others before them were too steeped in fear to think of such things.
When other nations were afraid of ideas, this civilization thrived on them, and kept them alive. When censors threatened to wipe out knowledge from past civilizations, this civilization kept the knowledge alive, and passed it on to others.

While modern Western civilization shares many of these traits, the civilization I’m talking about was the Islamic world from the year 800 to 1600, which included the Ottoman Empire and the courts of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo, and enlightened rulers like Suleiman the Magnificent.

Although we are often unaware of our indebtedness to this other civilization, its gifts are very much a part of our heritage. The technology industry would not exist without the contributions of Arab mathematicians. Sufi poet-philosophers like Rumi challenged our notions of self and truth. Leaders like Suleiman contributed to our notions of tolerance and civic leadership.

In light of the HORRORS still being perpetrated by Islam upon non Muslims beginning in the period she cites as the peak of Muslim culture, I would very much like to hear Ms. Fiorina renounce many of the points she made in that 2001 address. It was Muslims during the early part of those 800 years that brought the Christian Crusaders out of Western Europe to protect and avenge the thousands of Christian Pilgrims robbed, raped and murdered by Islam while simply attempting to visit Jerusalem and the Holy Land.

A distinctly politically INcorrect fact chucked down the old Memory Hole is that, among a few other causes, the hijacking of American ships and cargo, slaughter of captives and holding others for ransom by the Barbary Coast Pirates during the Jefferson Administration between 1801-1805 led to the expansion of our navy and the formation of the U.S. Marine Corps, whose members traveled aboard those ships for security. They are still called “Leathernecks” for the protective collars they wore to ward off the scimitars of these vicious Muslim bandits during their frequent battles. And the line in the Marine Hymn “...the shores of Tripoli” is a direct reference to those savage encounters.

In 1904, a resident of Trenton, NJ, Ion Perdicaris, was taken captive by the leader of a later band of Muslim marauders. Their leader, Raisuli, demanded a ransom of $70,000. President Theodore Roosevelt refused to pay and uttered his now famous “Perdicaris alive or Raisuli dead!” Backing up his demand with a flotilla of U.S. battleships, Perdicaris was released unharmed.
(Rhetorical Question: Where is OUR Teddy Roosevelt?)

And, of course, we all know what the Muslims have been up to since.

Little has changed and Dr. Bill Warner explains WHY in this excellent video.

If you genuinely want to understand the TRUE, VIOLENT, DUALISTIC, SCHIZOPHRENIC nature of ISLAM in order to become part of a solution instead of part of the problem that spells doom for Western Civilization (and, NO, that’s not too extreme a statement), you need to spend 40 minutes with Dr. Bill Warner here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjBDDC4wVxk

(Don’t be concerned when Dr. Warner mentions that he “sells” books. Though I suggest you sample the info in the first 5 minutes if only to get a sense of how thorough his research has been, if short on time, slide out past the 5 minute mark for the red meat beyond. THAT’S where the really important stuff is.)

No, you are comparing apples and oranges. Our “plight” with Latino immigrants is FAR FAR BETTER than Europe’s fate with these 7th Century Muzzies.

Mexicans/Latinos do not harbor the same terrorist inculcations that the Muzzies do. I know many Mexicans and many are hard working capitalists who have family values. 90% of them are Catholic. Would you rather have Muzzie illegals here or Latinos?

Latinos are slow to integrate into our culture, but a LOT faster than Muzzies who NEVER want to assimilate.

There’s no comparison.

Count our blessings here.

Good article, except for this:

Rapists, murderers, druggies, gang members. Not my "cultural brothers and sisters".

So if Obama takes in thousands or hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, can the next POTUS, get them out? I would think BO and Jarret are ecstatic about another huge burden against America, flying in millions from Syria, weeding out the Syrian Christians of course, to flood America with unbelievers that want to leech off of us or kill us.

Plus you can do a web search for “Latina bikini” and see many delightful sights. Can’t say the same for “burqa bikini.”
