Wednesday on CNN’s “Wolf,” Republican presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said if his rival Donald Trump was to become the GOP nominee for president, the Republican Party would lose as bad as it did in 1964 when the Democratic candidate President Lyndon B. Johnson won 61 percent of the popular vote against the Republican candidate, then-Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-AZ).

Paul using scare tactics? What, has he gone over to the dark side or something? The guy has gone off the rails.
I mean it’s obvious he’s already gone. Now all he’s doing seems vindictive, distracting, and potentially damaging.
That is a shame because Paul could have been an important influence here because when he’s lucid and on message, he has a lot to offer IMO.

I can tell by Rand Paul’s poll numbers that he’s really in touch with the electorate. /s
He has no idea how election to 16 will play out. He probably doesn’t realize that he’s not going to be the nominee. If he were, then we could count on a ‘64 type blowout.
