Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump in statistical dead heat in 2016 general election: poll

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are in a statistical dead heat in a hypothetical general election matchup, a new poll shows.

A Washington Post/ABC News poll of registered voters released Sunday shows the former secretary narrowly beating the bombastic billionaire 46% to 43%, but the three-percentage-point victory is well within the poll's margin of error.

Clinton's margin of victory increases substantially, however, when pollsters survey the winder field of all adults.

In that case, Clinton would beat Trump 51% to 39%.

Nearly a year before the formal nomination will occur, Clinton remains the presumptive frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, despite a tough challenge from Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Trump, meanwhile, also appears to be the clear frontrunner for the Republican nomination, leading in a slew of state and national polls.

How is it possible she is even allowed to continue running?

Because... this is no longer a Republic and certainly not a democracy. It is a Social Democratic state in which hidden Powers That Be have been able to install who they want in the WH.

Clinton now leads Trump?

Uh, just one problem for Hillary and her media cheerleaders ...

the election isn’t being held now, it’s not for another 14 months.

That’s a LOT of time for more drip, drip, drip e-mail and server revelations to slowly erode Hillary’s numbers even more, like we’ve seen over the last 2 months ... by election time, it won’t even be close.

So the less informed people are, the more likely they are to support Clinton?

(I think it will be about a billion times easier for Trump to convince more than half of voters that he's not a clown and an idiot, than it would be for Clinton to convince more than half of voters that she's not a dishonest crook.)

I think this mostly true, just not every time. This is our time now and our destiny.

This is similar to a recent CNN poll showing Clinton up 6% over Trump. But Clinton was up 16% in the CNN poll from the month prior. So Trump closed 10% in one month. Trump is getting stronger!

The Clintons have obviously been reading Sundance’s updates on the GOPe Roadmap To 2016 Victory:

http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/08/09/gope-2016-road-map-to-victory-tree-house-challenge/

... where Sundance discusses that if Trump is in, Clinton cannot beat him, so the Establishment will back Biden instead for the Dem nomination.

The Uniparty Bosses only want a Jeb vs. Hillary match; Trump is ruining all their plans to control the election and the outcome.

In other words, Clinton is being forced out of the race by Trump. This poll is ridiculous.

Clinton is being beat by Saunders here:

Can’t be true - because all the liberal pundits [Juan Williams?] insist Hillary is still ahead of all the GOP candidates.

“Clinton’s margin of victory increases substantially, however, when pollsters survey the winder field of all adults.”

Democrats always do better when they ask the masses

Hey if Waspost/ABC say its close then Trump is really probably ahead by good margin.

These people play with numbers like you would not believe, they will sometimes just poll adults and say that such anmd such has gained or lost, without mentioning that the last poll was all reg voters etc

Hey the pollsters are all mostly liberal, and when push comes to shove they will have it reading that the Democrat is surging, they all do it from Fox to whoever to Rasmussen etc

Article 1 Section 9:
No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state
IMHO the Republicans should sue the state election commissions to prevent them from putting Hillary on the ballot, or suffering any elector to vote for her. On grounds that payments to Bill and gifts to the Clinton Foundation by foreign governments while Hillary was SoS easily fit that criterion. The Clintons should be required to disgorge that money.
