Brandee Porterfield doesn’t think her daughter should be assigned to write “Allah is the only god; Mohammad is his prophet” as a school assignment.
“To me, a Christian child should not be made to write that,” Porterfield, mother of a seventh grader at Spring Hill Middle School, told the Columbia Daily News.
She also takes offense to what she said is a three week focus on Islam in her daughter’s history course, especially since the class skipped past a chapter on Christianity – the predominant religion in Tennessee.
“I have a big problem with that,” Porterfield said. “From a historical point of view, that’s a lot of history these kids are missing. Also, for them to spend three weeks on Islam after having skipped Christianity, it seems to me they are making a choice about which religion to discuss.”

Why is religion even in the classroom anyway? Parents should be marching on that school and tossing those teachers out to the curb.

Maybe some of this indoctrination would stop if the teachers and administrators started becoming more concerned that they would make it home safely each night rather than polluting an innocent mind with evil filth.

I thought once you uttered that phrase you are considered a Muslim.
That just means shoving Christianity into the smallest corner possible, eradicating it if possible (it’s not), while propagandising for every other “spirituality” out there, like New Age crud, Islam, etc. It’s telling to me that Christianity is always the one religion they want to silence and erase from the public consciousness.
The ROP is a political movement cleverly disguised as a religion. Adopting it would mean the end of Christianity and democracy. That explains the left’s deep and abiding love for it.

The concept of “separation of church and state” — which is not in the Constitution — has morphed under our government schools and has just become “It is illegal to talk about Christianity”.

What they’re really afraid of is the teachers pulling a work stoppage...so they knuckle under, every time...
One of the stupidest and most disgraceful things legislators anywhere ever did was bargain with the public educators to allow unonization and subsequent strikes...any teacher, or relative of a teacher out there in FR land, state your case as to why that should have been allowed...?
All the kids should be writing “lie” on every single assignment and test regarding Islam, especially the state tests.

Where are the volunteer “Room Mothers” who sit in the back of each class and OBSERVE what the “teachers” are “teaching”.
I think “Room Grandmothers” could also help keep the “teachers” honest.
