Jorge Ramos Makes the Case for Donald Trump
nysenate.gov ^ | 26 Aug 2015 | Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz District 32 Bronx County, New York

You should know that last night, during Donald Trump’s press conference in Dubuque, Iowa there was a confrontation between Univision reporter Jorge Ramos and US Presidential Candidate Donald Trump.

After watching that interview, I believe that Jorge Ramos’ actions were an embarrassment to Hispanics, immigrants, reporters and to Univision.

We all know that Donald Trump has become #1 in the polls because when he talks about immigration, he stirs a sentiment that resonates with many Americans who think that immigrants come here to take cover, be macho men, and enjoy the rights without respect, and do whatever they want to do.

Jorge Ramos’s responsibilities were to wait until he was called upon like every other reporter, and to ask his question when called upon – not to grandstand about his views on immigration before he was called to even ask a question. It was embarrassing to watch Jorge Ramos conduct himself they way he did last night. He did not wait for his turn to ask a question, and he was not respectful when he did ask.

Even when he was allowed to return to the press room, Jorge Ramos started to ask his question with his own opinion: "Here's the problem with your immigration plan. It's full of empty promises."

Jorge Ramos’ preamble to his question for Donald Trump showed us all how he was trying to engage in debate with Donald Trump – not to be an objective news reporter. He tried to tell Donald Trump what he can do and what he cannot do.

You should know that there is a reporter by the name of Gerson Borrero who has disagreed with me on many occasions, but when he interviews me, he asks direct questions and allows me to answer his questions. He does not inject his personal views into any of his questions. THAT is the job of a reporter.

With last night’s behavior of Jorge Ramos, he made the case for many of Donald Trump’s followers and other Americans who reject immigrants, thinking that we came here to take over without regard for any rules. I have to say that I believe Jorge Ramos’ behavior may have helped Donald Trump’s poll numbers to rise.

I am State Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz and this is what you should know.

That’s IT! That is exactly what I read today. I was surprised for some reason. I had thought he was just an obnoxious Marxist reporter. He is a wealthy one, as it turns out. VERY wealthy. I mean, wealthier than the Clintons!

Spanish America begins with the Mexican border and goes all the way to the southern tip of Argentina. That is a huge stretch of land, they don’t need anymore.

I certainly hope so! LOL!! You’re fun for saying that. Megyn needs to apologize. I’m a sucker for a sincere mea culpa. Who isn’t? It was me she was insulting and slandering when she slanders Trump and Cruz. What a shrew.

I have a solution to the immigration problem. Bring back something I remember from circa 1960. This was before Johnson’s Great Society and the expansion of welfare. I remember my mother helping to pass out free food to the needy which was done at our local school. People got a bag of food which included government cheese, canned goods, staples like sugar and flour, and a bag of dried beans. That was welfare in those days. No EBT cards.

Cut out all benefit programs for illegal immigrants but show them compassion with a bag of free food once a week so they don’t starve. When they see we won’t subsidize them with benefits equal to those of taxpayers who are paying for their free ride, then they’ll say oh shit and stay in Mexico.

A part-Latino, pro-illegal-immigrants activist was on TV an hour ago. He was loud, rude, shouting, over-talking the one in charge, interrupting, freezing out another media person, editorializing, monopolizing the time, not coming up for air and spouting false statistics and pure propaganda....

Was that person Georgie Ramos back for round two on Hannity's show tonight?

Nope, it was none other than Whorealdo Rivera, Ramos' mini-me....(or is Ramos Rivera's mini-me?)....spouting the propaganda non-stop like Ramos did to Trump last night!

Deja vu all over again!

Eeny, meeny, miney moe... La Raza Rivera has got to go!

“...the guy is not here legally, you cannot hold a citizenship in Mexico and one in the United States....”

Uh, yes you can. Ramos is here legally, despite being a deceptive and incredibly rude open borders advocate masquerading as a journalist.

My wife holds such dual citizenship, more to make travel back and forth easier than for any other reason. She will likely end up voting for Trump.

“After watching that interview, I believe that Jorge Ramos’ actions were an embarrassment to Hispanics, immigrants, reporters and to Univision”

But pretty typical of the arrogant and demanding behavior that comes with Jorge’s audience. SoCal knows it all too well.

“I think the powerful in Mexico would put a quick end to Jorge trying to upset their gravy train.”

Please. He works for them. Little Jorge is Mexico’s propaganda chief in the United States.

Simply put, Jorge cut in line, demanded his rights trump everyone else’s and anyone who disagrees is a racist.

F’ Jorge. Enough is enough. No more.

what gets me is how Ramos calls himself a reporter. He is nothing but an activist and seems to think telling everyone how he is an immigrant and now American gives him more self credence.

I see his daughter works for Clinton too.
