Gabriel Sherman at New York Magazine claims an inside look at Fox News and Roger Ailes handling of the weekend fight between Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly.
Part 1, published Monday:
According to two high-level Fox sources, Ailess diplomacy was the result of increasing concern inside Fox News that Trump could damage the network. Immediately following Thursdays debate, Fox was deluged with pro-Trump emails. The chatter on Twitter was equally in Trumps favor. In the beginning, virtually 100 percent of the emails were against Megyn Kelly, one Fox source, who was briefed on the situation, told me. Roger was not happy. Most of the Fox viewers were taking Trumps side.

The people running Breitbart are dragging Andrew’s name through the mud.
Off your meds again?
Geez, dude. You're embarrassing yourself with all the sourpuss comments you've been posting about Trump.
Don't like him? That's cool. We get it, but I'm with the boss on this one:
Go Trump!
Go Cruz!
GOP-e GTH!
Fox just about blew it. They pulled it out with Roger’s sycophantic and contrite earnest begging apology to Trump. Screw the bastard. MyGYN is history!! People watch to see a NASCAR like car wreck now. I hate the bitch.
Yeah, sure. Remember those rare Fox moments when Bill O’Reilly interviewed Obama.
I thought he was going to kiss the guy.
Love the part of the Stern Tape.
Never knew Peter Johnson worked for Fox as a Lawyer , knew he worked for Trump
Very Interesting! Thanks for posting.
Run to your Doctor and get Xanax fast, before you hurt yourself. Trump poll numbers are driving you crazy.
So what? They might have "aired" the comment only once, but they talked about it over-and-over throughout the weekend. Kurtz's Sunday morning show was half devoted to the three moderators congratulating themselves on what a great job they did.
It was talked about almost constantly for several days.
Chill out Geron.
Your buddies Hugh Hewett and Erick Erickson will be sponsoring
the next GOP debate.
Hugh is the Head RINO.
And Erick is a deviant.
They will have another chance to take out Trump.
Troll Alert!
Why not say something nice about Cruz once in a while?
He could use your support.
Why troll every trump thread and not even mention his name?
“Go Trump!
Go Cruz!
GOP-e GTH!”
Absolutely.
I think it is way to early in the process to worry a whole lot about what will happen in over a year from now. In the meantime, I think it both instructive and fun to watch Trump freaking the establishment of both wings of the uniparty and media out. Trump is simply taking advantage of a situation the republican party created themselves by running as conservatives every election and than acting like democrats once they get elected. People are frustrated with the GOPe and want a change. I am tired of it also. I want Cruz to win but if Trump does pull it off, I would certainly vote for Trump before I would vote for somebody like Rubio, Kasich, Graham, Christie or Jeb.
Exactly, what’s the hurry? We’ve got plenty of time to assess whether or not Trump is POTUS worthy, in the meantime, pop some popcorn sit back and enjoy the show.
Welp, tha’s capitalism for ya
BUT WAIT! I thought Beck wasn't going to talk about Trump anymore...What's the matter Glenn? Ratings?
That's it in a nutshell. Trump is outing them and the American people LOVE IT(que the ladies). And with the Hildibeast staring down the barrel of a perjury indictment if Trump does go third party he could actually win. Pass the popcorn, baby!
Good point; why don’t Cruz supporters, and I count as one, post Cruz articles and get a conversation going? Unfortunately, the person who ran the ping list had to drop it because of personal matters. Can’t somebody take up the slack? and stop acting wacky about Trump?
