Lawyer, constitutional scholar, best selling author, and conservative talk radio host Mark Levin, in an interview on the Breitbart News Saturday radio program, expressed outrage at the Thursday night GOP presidential debate hosted by Fox News.
Levin asserted, “I think that we were all duped. The fact of the matter is that this was a ratings gambit.”
Levin spoke to the program’s host, Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon on the phone, while riding a train to a book signing event in Huntington, Long Island for his latest best seller, Plunder and Deceit: Big Government’s Exploitation of Young People and the Future.
Levin claims that “We the people” were overlooked in the debate, and the event became a media spectacle with more emphasis on the show’s moderators than on discussing the important issues that face America. “Even today, it’s all about who has Megyn Kelly’s back. We the people, this is our process. We don’t get that many opportunities to go through the primary process. There are only nine debates,” he said.
“The Great One” pointed out that Fox had an opportunity to host one of these important debates, “And they took advantage of us, they took advantage of the audience.” Levin explained that Kelly”s “question two,” accusing Donald Trump of making inappropriate comments to Rosie O’Donnell and others, “was outrageous.” Levin suggested that Fox went to great lengths to engage in “oppositional research” on Mr. Trump.
“This isn’t a matter of who I support but a matter of basic fairness and what a debate is to be like,” he clarified.

Levin complained that Fox sifted through 185 shows and 14 seasons of Trump’s Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice to come up with “a line that they had to take out of context about some lady on her knees. He didn’t tell her to get on her knees, They brought it up to him. He responded to it, but not in a sexual context.”
There was no ‘debate’.
I didn’t see a ‘debate’.
The closest thing to an actual debate was Christie and Paul going at each other. Other than that it was rather uninformative and churlish...............
More than 1/3 of the FOX “News”=Ambush “debate”
was on ... the moderators.
FOX “News” is a thief of potentially important debates
and they should go bankrupt four times for it.
That pretty much sums it up.
When you think of it. The better debate was the one at 5PM.
Let’s go back to the days when moderators asked questions
And did not interject themselves.
24-hr. News has attracted more and more loud, brash ‘journalists’ to garner an audience.
It showed and I was embarrassed for FOX.
Joseph Goebbels would be proud of Fox News.
Certainly Barak Obama is.
Certainly Hillary Clinton is.

I said it was a reality show, with little substance on the issues.
1st thing I said the next day was “Crappy Reality TV and surrealistic of what is important to Democrats “Feeeeeeeeelings”.
But, many of the other candidates, leading up to the debate, involved themselves in the same horse shit of a “Feeeeeeelings Debate”.

Kelly is a Lib formerly with ABC News. For the right price she will return to ABC as the next Diane Sawyer.

Foxy MEGYN KELLY takes a chunk out of former VP DICK CHENEY over Iraq, his diss of Pres. OBAMA and those non-existent WMDs.
The Fox News Channel anchor sat down with the former VP of the Dubya Administration after Cheney wrote a poison-pen op-ed for the Wall Street Journal slamming Pres. Obama for his management of the ongoing crisis in Iraq
In his op-ed, Cheney wrote: “Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many. Too many times to count, Mr. Obama has told us he is ‘ending’ the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan—as though wishing made it so. His rhetoric has now come crashing into reality. Watching the black-clad ISIS jihadists take territory once secured by American blood is final proof, if any were needed, that America’s enemies are not ‘decimated.’ They are emboldened and on the march.”
On her Fox News Channel show, “The Kelly File”, even Megyn took umbrage to Cheney’s piece. She read aloud a nasty response that appeared in The Washington Post.
She then asked Dick: “The suggestion then is that you caused this mess, Mr. Vice President. What say you?”
“Well, obviously I disagree,” Cheney snapped, sitting with his daughter Liz. who co-authored the op-ed piece. “I think we went into Iraq for very good reasons.”

Hell, The View has more of a ‘debate’ format than what these people put on......................
Go Great One. It was the “circuses” part of “bread and circuses”, for the ratings. ALL 3 “moderators” trying to play gotcha, mostly against Trump.
Even Christie vs Paul was Christie pulling at heart strings about 9-11 (and failing to address the 4th amendment point at all) and Paul sniping about him hugging Obama, and not having time to explain about warrants.
Don’t watch them anymore unless you know the questions are going to be useful to making a decision. Get us a Limbaugh, Steyn, Sowell, Ingraham, Levin, Beck... anyone who can stimulate and allow us to hear the important thinking in these guys.
Trump never said “Get on your knees”.
They paraphrased what happened, remove content and created a whole new context.

Didn’t watch the debate. Thought it would be exactly as it turned out to be. Real voters don’t ‘depend on’ national debate(s) to form their opinions/decisions.
