Paul ------- 7

Those dirty cretins at Fox tried to torpedo Trump by asking him questions as they did the same to Cruz by NOT asking him questions. I’m done with Fox.

It must be accurate if Rush quoted it, but it sure didn’t seem like that at the time. Looking at this, Fox didn’t let standing in the polls dictate how much air time a candidate got. Walker got a negligible amount of time. He should have been one of the ones with more, not the least.
Fox totally screwed this up.

The big looser in this Debate?

The American people and the E-GOP.

We got 2 hours of gotchaism when we needed a substantive debate and the issues and potential future direction of the country as we look at a host of POTUS candidates.

The E-GOP looked even more b@ll-less than Boehner and McConnell here is why:

* It was trying squeeze Trump out of this via the tools @ Fox, and they ended up looking small.
* For years us the base have been on a screed to do two things.
* One, close off our Primaries to "R's" only.
* Second, have a real debate.

For one a moderator. someone who ask no questions. Heck bring back an old time stop watch, some collector must have William F Buckley's hardware on the set from "Firing Line".

But more importantly, where were the men and women of intellectual firepower to ask real questions? Why wasn't Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr Walter Williams, Phillis Schlafly, Michelle Malkin, Dennis Prager, Hugh Hewitt and Mark Levin up their to ask REAL QUESTIONS!

The E-GOP sucks on ice, it is a no wonder Rince Prebius and earned his new nickname which I will not repeat. If they can't even run a freakin' debate, how do we expect them to run a country?

Raise your hand if you attended Clinton Foundation activities,or if you received a call from Bill Clinton before you announced.

[Massive Audience for Fox Debate Proves There Is an Overwhelming Thirst for Change in This Country]

More proof the last presidential election was won fraudulently.

It’s early and that “debate” garnered even more interest. A whole lotta shakin’ still in the wings as it’s early. First time since Reagan I’m excited about an election cycle. They will continue to help Trump by trying to destroy him and to marginalize Cruz and Walker via low times and bland questions because they are afraid of the effects of “gotcha” questions backfiring...

Bullsh*t headline on this post.

People watched in great numbers solely to see what would happen with Trump.

Actually, Kelly had the most speaking time which was obvious from her long-winded introductions to her questions and her giggling, scowling and fake outrage.

That headline says it all, that’s exactly what I was thinking. And, quite frankly, that audience count is a number that should scare the heck out of Hillary!

Although I will grant that Trump’s participation probably did a good deal to boost the audience. Why? I don’t know, but people do seem to get a kick out of him.

FTA: The third-highest polling candidate -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker -- came in 9th place, being heard just over half of Trump's time.

I was waiting for somebody else to notice this. And the questions the panel gave him were combative and rather personl -- not on the issues of the day.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

Correct.

The real question now is: Will Americans get the change they want or will they get yet more of the same tired, old, corrupt political sh1t.

If the career pols in Washington get their way, it will certainly be the latter.

Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace were boors, merely pimping for pop TV rather than substance. Bret B. showed some intelligence in his questions. Was mightily impressed with Carly Fiorina - would be a great ticket - Walker/Fiorina.
