I think I would say how the Founding Fathers established our system to have a secular government. Our government is a constitutional republic. The US constitution guarantees that every state shall have a republican form of government. The government is involved with secular matters, not with religious doctrine.
The Bible is the governing force for the lives of believers ,and for providing guidance in matters of faith. The Constitution is the governing force for the functioning of our government.
The Constitution overrides the Bible when it comes to matters of our secular government. The Bible overrides the Constitution when it comes to matters of faith.
The Bible is the rock upon which the foundations of our national constitution rest.

2. what you really want to ask is if I would select a passage from the bible and consider it to have overridden a specific sentence in the constitution.

In my own personal life, yes. But the Constitution provides the rights and responsibilities of the government of the United States and is not the guide that God gives each of us to live our lives.
The Constitution gets its power from the people. The people gets their rights from their Creator.
