Suspected serial killer Neal Falls' body count may have matched the number of weapons in his arsenal.
Police around the country are working Monday to determine whether Falls -- who was shot and killed by a West Virginia escort as he tried to strangle her -- is linked to the unsolved murders of prostitutes in at least three other states.
On July 18, Falls, a 45-year-old drifter, knocked on the door of a Charleston, W.V. prostitute who advertised her services on Backpage.com.
When the woman -- identified as "Heather" -- opened the door, Falls asked her only one question: "Live or die?"
The woman said she lunged for a rake to fight him off as he grabbed her throat from behind. Falls placed his handgun down during the struggle, said the woman, who grabbed for it and fired one shot, killing him.

So a woman killed an attacker, who was a possible serial killer.
And nothing is noted in the media
It was reported in the Washington Post yesterday so I think it was a big deal.
This brave lady of the evening stopped a likely serial killer. Good for her!

The list of stuff this pervert had in his car is chilling. This was going to be a gruesome death. Way to go, lady.

Considering the outcome, maybe it’s a good idea.
If you have ever stepped on one, not knowing it is there, and the handle comes up and hits you between the eyes, you see stars and hear birdies tweet for a while.

Prostitution is very lucrative, she needs it to rake in the money.
It should make her clients much more polite and better tippers for a while, anyway, LOL.

It happened in her kitchen, and he put the gun down to take the rake out of her hands... still not sure why a rake was in her kitchen, though, LOL. Still happy for the happy ending, and if all of the other prostitute murders they think he did are all true, his bodycount was likely in double-digits, and so she probably saved quite a few lives (although she said that he said that he was going to jail soon, so maybe he was about to be caught anyway).
He had no criminal record, worked as a security guard at the Hilton, and his mom died recently (8 months ago). His sister says they were raised in an abusive household, and his former landlord says he abused the puppy he brought home, and that's why she kicked him out.

I live about 40 minutes South East of Chillicothe Ohio (Ross Cty.) and the talk is there is evidence linking this nutter to the deaths of several women in Ross County Ohio. I hope this is the guy because they were having no luck finding who had killed those women.
I am going to start keeping my rake indoors for self-defense. And my pitchfork too for good measure
