Unsuspecting Small Business Owners Hit With $36,500 PER EMPLOYEE Obamacare Fines!
IRS and my accountant ^ | Self

Posted on 07/06/2015 1:49:20 PM PDT by Crystal Palace East

Remember the "If you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance" lie? Well, starting last week, tens of thousands of small business owners are about to get hit with $100 per day / per employee fines for helping their employees pay for their private insurance! That's $36,500 for each person they try to help!

It's very simple. The government wants everyone on Obamacare... and dependent on the government. So the IRS will now levy a $100 per day, per employee fine on any employer who helps their employees pay the cost of their private healthcare insurance.

10 employees? That's $365,000 due every year!

Hard to believe? Check the official word from the IRS at the link. Some business magazines have also covered this, but it is not widely known.

Small businesses with fewer than 50 employees are NOT exempt from this ridiculousness. Any attempt to simply increase salaries to cover the insurance would probably be seen as an illegal way to circumvent the fine and add additional penalties!

Here is the huge problem. Most small business owners are not aware of this, and won't until they get a $36,500 fine PER EMPLOYEE at tax time. Please, if you operate a small business or know someone who does, tell then to call their accountant NOW!

This has been kept very low key so the IRS can collect the fines next year. Many accountants are not calling their clients to advise them!

More lies about Obamacare, and more government run amuck!

I’m just showing you as the legalistic economic naif you are, a pro life socialist, with no understanding of the free market.

That I worked with Bush Quayle in 92? So what....they were the ticket. Not the ticket I wanted, but they were the ticket. Kind of childish of you to make the phony connection you’re trying to make. I was working AGAINST Clinton, not for BUSH.

Right. And driving 1-MPH under the speed limit is circumventing a
speeding ticket and according to this insanity, illegal.

Pulling under 10k out of your bank is also considered circumventing the law
made to report withdrawals at 10k+, and your assets can be confiscated without charges.

This is what Democrats have done, and the GOP has allowed.

Only if the structuring is being done to hide illegal activity.

Your overall view is totally correct but my immediate worry is about the poor unsuspecting business-owning SOB who gets hit with a huge fine at tax time.

MSM should have covered this.... but of course....

You must think that the Founding Fathers are liars - that the Bill of Rights and our Declaration (and other docs) were NOT divinely inspired...and that only YOU are smart enough to know that God really didn’t inspire the freedom and liberty (that would INCLUDE free market economics) - even though our Founders were sure of it.

BTW, your Ten Commandments Economy? It’ll work, as long as their is Manna from Heaven on the ground six days a week. Until then, you’re going to have to rely on products of the free market system to eat, to have shelter, etc.

It sort of tends to discourage folks from even trying to run a business outside the politically approved/connected oligarchic corporatocracy, doesn't it.

The Recreate '68 social engineer reject-O-termintes (who now infest corporate infrastructure) know exactly what they're doing.

Luke 12:27-31

27 "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

YMMV

I heard Rush cover this story today; it should now rightly receive more national attention.

But not by the drive-bys.

Actually she was called to be a Christian school teacher and I was blessed with skills that were used to support her, financially, in that ministry.

Why don’t you go pick some Manna and hush up? You’re really struggling here to make any sense at all. Quite frankly, it’s boring.

Marxists don't have any cred, but Mr. pope, can you even explain what "pharisaical NWO Bush-Quayle FAIL" even means, as it pertains to me? I mean, I have a hunch, but if it's true, it would be even more ridiculous than your Marxism.
