Sen. Bernard Sanders strong second-place showing in Wisconsin Democrats presidential straw poll has party leaders warning Hillary Rodham Clinton that she could have a real primary race on her hands.
Mrs. Clinton, who is supposed to be the partys all-but-inevitable presidential nominee, barely beat Mr. Sanders in the balloting this past weekend, garnering 252 votes to his 208, or 49 percent to 41 percent.
By golly, I think Clinton has got to pay attention to whos out there, said Gerry Lisi, Wisconsin Democratic Party Chairman for Barron County. I know Clinton is listening, and Im sure this will have an effect.

A longtime centrist, Mrs. Clinton has jogged to the left this year to satisfy the partys liberal base.
Mrs. Clinton has already adopted many of Mr. Sanders liberal positions, including announcing support Sunday for raising the federal minimum wage to a $15 per hour living wage. She previously called for a higher minimum wage but never set it at the $15 mark favored by Mr. Sanders, unions and liberal activists.
Mrs. Clinton declared herself the living-wage candidate when she spoke by telephone to a convention of about 1,300 fast-food workers in Detroit.
I want to be your champion. I want to fight [for] you every day, she said. No one who works an honest job in America should have to live in poverty.

Sanders or Clinton — what difference does it make.
Did you catch the straw poll out of Wisconsin that had Sanders at 41, within striking distance of Hillary, at 49?
More evidence that Hillary really is a drag on Democrat enthusiasm, and for the time being anyway the Lefty media is not interested in propping her up.
I would not be surprised that the media would just as well have Jeb as they would Hillary, actually, and may well do what they deem needs to be done to procure the R nomination for Bush, in hopes he beats Hillary. They probably think they can live with Bush and be rid of the beastly Hillary at long last.
I suspect in the long run, if the hildabeast gets the nod, he may run as an independent. That would be a Republican wet dream in splitting the dim vote.
>>Sanders or Clinton what difference does it make.<<
Sanders would probably lose 49 states to whomever the GOP runs, but his real impact is going to be driving Hillary out of the race. Then the scramble within the Dem Party will be on to field an alternative candidate who has a chance.
The Dems have moved so far left under Pelosi, Reid, and Obama that the remaining base is enamored with Sanders. The irony is that the Progressives who run the Democrat Party think it’s the GOP that’s moved right. They have no idea how far they are to the left of the average voter, probably because the reporters covering them are right there with them on the far left.
back to familiar territory.
“I suspect in the long run, if the hildabeast gets the nod, he may run as an independent. That would be a Republican wet dream in splitting the dim vote. “
That is a possibility. Another possibility if Jeb! gets the nod is that someone like Donald Trump does the same thing and runs as an independent. 4 way race.
That would actually be an interesting election to watch.

Who cares.. AS IF.. the 2016 Presidential election would be fair.. and honest..
IT WON’T...
Those that think it will.. ARE DELUSIONAL..
Not ALL State elections are fair, as well..
Of course, the real question they should be asking is, were all of Bernie’s vote pro-Bernie, and not anti-Hillary? I think there’s a number of Dem’s that are ready to move on from the Clintons.
Does Bernie “you only need one kind of running shoe” Sanders aware that there are 3,546 Foot Locker locations, each employing at least 8 people? That’s 28,000 workers — just at Foot Locker stores! Not counting corporate. Not counting all the other shoe stores out there. And there’s people voting for him?????
The only place I want to see either of these 2 hucksters is on a milk carton.
In the obits would be fine with me. ;>)
In a way, I suppose that this is good, as it may help to establish a stark contrast between the eventual Republican candidate and Hillary Clinton (who, presumably, will be the Democratic nominee)...
Dear God, save our country from either one of these idiots.
