The co-hosts of Fox News Channels The Five began Tuesdays show with discussion of actor Vince Vaughns recent comments in support of gun rights and grew rather heated when first-time co-host Geraldo Rivera compared Vaughn to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.
Following co-host Greg Gutfelds opening commentary about Vaughns, the medias reaction to them, and how killers often seek out places where its unlikely that anyone will be carrying a gun, Rivera first commented by remarking that [t]he Second Amendment is most lavishly defended amendment in all the Constitution of the United States.
After Gutfeld asserted that is important since it defends the First Amendment, Rivera sought to mock gun rights supporters when he declared that [a]nybody who thinks they need guns, there's a gun for every man, woman and child in the country to protect against the corrupt and arrogant and pervasive government.
When Rivera then asked his fellow co-hosts if Vaughns statements remind you of Timothy McVeigh and the militias, multiple groans were heard and they immediately began shouting in his direction.
Gutfeld emerged from the groans to push back at Rivera and first expressed befuddlement at the comparison: Oh please that reminds me of almost all of America and by the way, why would you go straight to McVeigh? Why would you?
Cut off from continuing, Rivera warned that Americans are bathing in blood in the civil war that is racking the inner city of this country and that [t]he last thing we need now is guns.

So how long before Rivera decides he is really female?
Inner city thugs are not real Americans.
According to Geraldo, I’m no better than the thugs and criminals. No Geraldo, it’s not a civil war. It’s a rampant crime wave made possible by race-baiters, leftist whackadoodles and lazy, brain-dead media shills such as yourself.
That’s the one thing that disgusts me about FOX. They put Libturds like Rivers, Beckel, Williams and others on panels for no other reason than to spew crap like this.
If the cities were not gun free zones then the citizens would be armed and scare off the intruders. And if the police were not mistreated and sent to jail then they would be actively enforcing peace and kicking the thugs out. This whole thing is the fault of left wing policies and hatred of police. That includes them being misguided on guns, gun ownership and the first amendment. They are truly as dumb as Geraldo.
Right now the thugs are having a field day because they have demoralized the police and caused them to be afraid to do anything that would get them in trouble and off to jail. So they are taken advantage of this period to do what they doi best and that is comitt crimes and killings.
They don’t need laws to quit getting guns. The thugs find ways to get guns and go to gun free zones where it is easier to be violent and comitt crimes.
Oh wait, he used explosives.
Why is Geraldo such a turd?
McVeigh has NOTHING to do with guns. Oh, he might have liked them, but so what?
If anyone ever deserved another hard chair to the nose it’s....
Geraldo is a punk.
Hey, Gerry- ever had a gun license? How about havin’ hard guys, pack-to-shoot for you?
Whoroldo has spoken. A man who gave air time to neonazis. Ain’t seen them on tv much since the 90s.
He already tried the nude [unintentionally creepy] route.
Actually, I think he’s a good 10 or 15 years older than Bruce.
It's going to be a little hard to explains this, but I'll try. The reason Timothy McVeigh is always on Jerry Rivers's mind is because McVeigh used turds to blow up the Murrah building in OKC. Since you pointed out that Geraldo is a turd, he is obviously afraid that some future McVeigh type will place him under a building to be used as explosive material. I hope I have made Jerry Rivers's reasoning clear for you.
Lord
Any Jew who is anti gun rights is one dumb son of a beech with a poor memory
Timothy was a bomb man. What did guns have to do with OKC?
Reason #30 I don’t watch Fox.
The man driving that Ryder truck (McVeigh was a passenger) which blew up in OKC happened to be an Iraqi military officer. Did you know that?
Later he was working for the vending company in Boston which provided box lunches for the flights that ended at the WTC in New York on 9-11.
His name is Hussein al-Husseini. I do not know where he is now.
Thanks for post.
I always thought “John Doe #2” was the shoebomber whose name I cannot recall - still early and not nearly enough caffeine to function.
Any links to the Hussein al-Husseini reference?
