I want my money back.
You’re right!
“Rand Paul is looking better every day.”
Amen!!
If nothing else it showed he has a set. He stuck to his beliefs, and stood by the Constitution, in the face of almost unanimous opposition from the media, and his fellow politicians.
I think a lot of voters noticed. I heard one poll say he had jumped to the front of the pack in Iowa.
Mitt Walker, just plain wrong. :-)
Nobody under 60 still likes The Patriot Act.
I wasn’t crowing over anything. My point: Scott Walker said he supports the Patriot Act and would like it voted back in. The result: Cruz posters making rude, nasty and uninformed comments about Scott Walker. Those people did not even know their hero voted for the bill which is worse than Walker verbalizing his support. They ripped Walker to shreds. So my point is if Walker is discarded and shredded by Cruz supporters when Cruz did the same thing and more, by their principles and ideals, then these same Cruz supporters should be looking elsewhere for a candidate. Which is why I asked for plan B or who else would they be interested in supporting for pres. As I figured, no response.
Maybe I just won't vote at all like last time.
I’m taking a second hard look at Rand. Walker was my #1 guy after Cruz lost it with his desire to open up immigration to people that are going to make it harder for those of us who work with technology to stay employed. Now Walker does this...
Cruz voted FOR the bill.
If that is your criteria, choose Rand the only one on the correct side of the issue.
Rand Paul is very Pro Life if I am not mistaken.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
It just shows ya the lengths some will go to keep power and the keys to the Treasury and Fed Reserves teats..
I just hope they donate. :-)
no vote for you
“Walker is now dead to me.”
He always was to me since the beginning. I can spot phoneys being a Hollywood guy. However, the “Walker Dead” troop of Freepers seem to throw a hissy fit around night time when they congregate to worship him here and when some Freepers throw firebombs at him at the same time (snicker)
The problem here is that, if you could combine the finest qualities of all the GOP prospects you would have someone who actually believed in America as it is SUPPOSED to exist. Unfortunately we are far more likely to get someone with most of the worst qualities of all combined. On the big D side, of course, you have no prospects of anyone running who is anything but dedicated to the total destruction of America as it is SUPPOSED to exist. Since there is not even the slightest real chance that anyone other than a big R or a big D candidate will be elected we are screwed coming and going.
I would be thrilled if we had a candidate who could at least compare and contrast a republic and a democracy and explain why a true democracy is among the worst possible forms of government and why the founders warned AGAINST the dangers of democracy rather than spouting the traditional empty praise of democracy. Of course I would also like a new F-150 platinum edition attached to a large enclosed trailer full of Benjamins. One is as likely as the other.
(Mitt and Obama: They’re the same poison, just a different potency)
True but I still think I have a better chance of survival being bitten by a Copperhead than an Eastern Diamondback.
