Prepare Your Homes And Neighborhoods For The Violence That Is Going To Sweep America
SHTF Plan ^ | 5/27/2015 | Michael Snyder

Posted on 05/30/2015 4:41:16 AM PDT by HomerBohn

The thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted on a daily basis is beginning to disappear, and a new era of chaos and anarchy is coming to our cities. I don’t know if you have noticed, but violence is increasing on the streets of America. Over Memorial Day weekend, 29 people were shot in Baltimore and 55 people were shot in Chicago.

But of course the trend that I am talking about is much broader than that. According to the FBI, the number of police officers “feloniously killed” in the line of duty rose by an astounding 89 percent in 2014.

We live at a time when Americans are becoming extremely angry and extremely frustrated, and this is only going to intensify as economic conditions worsen. But already we have seen some of this anger and frustration boil over into violence in Ferguson and in Baltimore. And you know what? The vast majority of Americans expect more of the same in the coming months. According to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News survey that was recently released, 96 percent of all Americans believe that there will be more civil unrest in America this summer. What we have seen up until now is just the warm up act. The main event is still to come.

If things are this bad already, how bad will they be when the next great economic crisis hits this nation and unemployment skyrockets and poverty is everywhere?

That is why I am encouraging people that currently live in the heart of our major cities to consider moving. Unfortunately, most Americans are completely dependent on the jobs that they currently have, so moving is not really a practical option for a lot of people.

For those that cannot move, you are just going to have to get prepared right where you are. That means making your home and your family as unattractive a target to potential criminals as you possibly can. The goal should be to avoid a violent confrontation if at all possible. So you will want multiple layers of security between you and those that would potentially harm you and your family. You want to try to deter the bad guys from ever coming on to your property in the first place, but if they do come, you need to be ready to deal with them.

At the moment, we are still in the midst of relatively stable economic times. But even in these relatively stable times, violence is escalating. Just consider what happened in Baltimore over the recent holiday weekend. A grand total of 29 people were shot…

Police say 29 people were shot, 9 of them killed over this weekend, adding to the record-breaking violence.

The shooting didn’t stop on Monday night after a 9-year-old boy and another man were both injured by gun fire in the 2900 block of Arunah Avenue. Police say the child was shot in the leg and another man suffered a graze wound to the head.

Overall, this past month has been the deadliest month for Baltimore in 15 years.

Things are even worse in the city of Chicago. Over this past weekend, 55 peoplegot shot…

Twelve people were killed and at least 43 — including a 4-year-old girl — were wounded in shootings across Chicago this Memorial Day weekend, police said.

The 4-year-old, identified by her family as Jacele Johnson, was shot about 8 p.m. Friday in the West Englewood neighborhood. She and her 17-year-old cousin Romare Wilson were inside an SUV in the 7000 block of South Justine when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to their family and Chicago Police.

Early in April, I went on the record and specifically named Chicago and Baltimore as two of the cities where we would be seeing civil unrest. Since that time we have seen horrible rioting in Baltimore and the violence in Chicago continues to spiral out of control.

Other experts are issuing similar warnings. For example, consider what an assistant professor at New Jersey City University recently had to say…

Urban unrest expert Dr. Max Herman says that the United Statesis on the “cusp” of a wave of domestic disorder and that the country will see more race riots.

Herman, Assistant Professor of Sociology at New Jersey City University, told the New Republic’s Joel Gillin that the economic downturn, in addition to incidents of police brutality, have provided fertile conditions for civil unrest.

He sees the re-emergence of a 60’s-style “protest ideology” amongst black communities which will lead to more disorder.

“It’s very clear from studying history that these things tend to run in cycles,” said Herman, adding, “I think we are at the cusp of another cycle.”

Author Chris Hedges is saying similar things. The following comes from a recent article about him in the National Post…

The United States is primed for a rebellion. So argues Chris Hedges in his new book, Wages of Rebellion, in which the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and polemicist examines revolts from 1700s to the ending of apartheid in South Africa, as well as the “sublime madness” that drives the people at the centre of such rebellions.

When asked by the National Post why he wrote his new book, this is what Hedges had to say…

I didn’t write it as a warning or a prediction. I wrote it more as an assessment. I covered disintegrating societies like Yugoslavia.I know how they break down; I know what the warning signs are, so it’s familiar. I don’t think at this point there’s much dispute. Even just the financial indicators in terms of wealth disparity and chronic unemployment. The fact that Congress has a nine-per-cent approval rating. Where I’m coming from, the book is an attempt to explain where we are in this particular historical period.

But it isn’t just that we are entering a new cycle of unrest. Our “leaders” have made things much worse by the decisions that they have made. For instance, Barack Obama’s decision to leave our southern border virtually unguarded has resulted in a massive flood of illegal immigrants coming into this country. As a result, violent gangs that have roots in Central America and South America have mushroomed in size. So now major cities far from the border such as Charlotte, North Carolina are being absolutely terrorized by these gangs…

Recent busts of murderous MS-13 gangsters put the lie to President Obama’s sympathetic amnesty narrative of illegal immigrants as “workers who mow our lawns, make our beds (and) clean out bedpans.”

Authorities Wednesday rounded up 37 MS-13 gang members in Charlotte, N.C., on racketeering conspiracy charges, along with charges of murder, attempted murder and firearms violations. All of them are illegal aliens from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. Several are round-trippers — illegals who broke in once, committed crimes, got deported and broke back into the U.S. — proving that our border is porous and unsecured.

Charlotte police discovered the rat’s nest of foreign gangstersafter some of them started shooting up local nightclubs and bars.

In 2015, it isn’t just our own citizens that we need to be concerned about. At this point, many of our biggest cities are absolutely packed to the gills with gangs made up primarily of illegal immigrants.

I discussed Chicago earlier. Did you know that it is estimated that approximately 150,000 gang members now live there?

When things start really breaking down in this country, those gangs are going to have a field day.

America is changing, and not for the better. And when violence starts sweeping this nation, don’t count on the government to come in and rescue you. After watching what happened in Ferguson and in Baltimore, you should know better than that by now.

It is time for the American people to prepare their own homes and their own neighborhoods for the chaos and the violence that is coming.

For the moment, things are still relatively stable so we have a little bit of time to prepare, but it won’t last for long.

I was just making the point, really, that once blacks lost their purpose and forgot religion and education, they fell into anarchy.

I have observed that blacks have become more openly racist and violent toward whites since integration and the Civil Rights Movement begin. And the whites, just the opposite, more secretly racist and less violent toward blacks.

As for education and religion, both whites and blacks seem to be equally lacking today.

Obviously there are exceptions but in general that is my opinion. And as long as those in authority permit violent acts and looting to occur in the name of justice for past, present, or imaginary acts of racism, anarchy will result.

why the Lord God starts His wrath with a great earthquake that crumbles mountains and moves islands.

I'm kinda hoping he leaves the mountains and island alone and just eradicates the urban filth. (Sodom and gonorrhea)

We live in an upscale neighborhood. One has to have a lot of money to buy a house and live in this area. The weak link I see here are the “workers” who come into this neighborhood - the swimming pool cleaners, the house cleaners, the yard caretakers, the remodeling workers, the carpet cleaners, the pest control workers, the air conditioning checkers/cleaners, etc..

All these workers know what is around and in these houses. I keep prep stuff in closets/cabinets where they don't go. On days house cleaners come, valuables are put where they don't go.

My point is, although those people don't live in this area, they know where these expensive houses are and can navigate through here since they work here.

Should a long emergency happen, these homes would be a draw to those who know there is good stuff in these houses. I do think men on this street would band together if need be to secure at least our street and since this is Texas, I feel sure all these men have weapons and know how to use them. However, I doubt they are preppers so they won't have water and food, either, which will be gold at that time for all of them.

Really, it is a nightmare come true if we dissolve into this group against that group, this family against that family, this man against that man - horrible.

Our middle-class neighbors seem to be OK.

Lots of "Guns and Guts" bumper stickers and that kind of stuff.

Several came over and greeted us last month when we moved in.

“My point is, although those people don’t live in this area, they know where these expensive houses are and can navigate through here since they work here.”

Absolutely. It was the same before I escaped Mexifornia - we were in the ‘good’ area of town, so our houses were targets that the illegals went for when burglarizing, etc. Even before there is economic collapse or other forms of civil unrest. I felt like a sitting duck, waiting for the inevitable crash.

So when we moved to the country, we bought a house that was no better than the surrounding houses on the surface. It is older and needs updating badly. We’ll remodel quietly - because I really can’t deal with the dark paneling with my vision problems - but from the outside, nobody will know we’ve spent money on it. We’ll add a ‘barn’ (shop), but since that’s normal around here, it will fit in. And the HUGE finished basement is my dream-come-true! It is stuffed with food storage, gun safes, etc. And is delightfully cool!

There were lots of newer houses we saw, but we actually did like this one best because of the acreage and somewhat isolated location. Those newer houses might be targets when the time comes - they rather look like ‘yankee’ houses, LOL! People around here don’t talk about liberals, but about Yankees. It’s the northerners that come here and try to infiltrate with their liberal ideas that bother the locals, so I guess they don’t have many from the 2 coasts move in.

We’re just trying to blend in. Our money will NOT be in a local bank except to use for an ATM and deposits. We’ll start some businesses, small ones that are labor intensive, so it appears we need money and are struggling like everyone else but nobody will know we’re only working part-time and enjoying the beauty full-time. And I’m subtly (I hope) going around and talking about things like how illegals can ruin a state, the inevitable economic collapse, and the evils of socialism. Just to influence people if I can - the great thing is, most are already on board ;)

....”They’re pushing the people that make this nation great to the wall. Sooner or later, there is going to be push back. It may get very ugly before it’s done”.....

I'm not so sure of that anymore....we seem to be more and more outnumbered...rather, I think we'll go into hiding/underground so to speak.

We're being suffocated by the Progressive/Liberal mindset, yet far too many simply take it in stride. The brainwashing of this nation seems far enough along that they now risk any push back and still come out on top.

Agree with each of you, on the need to for us to educate everyone we know on Cloward-Piven.

Most people have no clue, and a handful who’ve heard the term/phrase think it’s just a conspiracy theory. Enough time has gone by (7 years >cough<), that it should be easily proved with things that have factually happened. We just need a concise way to explain it. Like Taxman said...we should ALL be experts, by now. Sounds like you are *living* the explanation, with your talk and lifestyle, HH.

I agree with you, Marcella, about the “weak link” of potential infiltration. HH is so lucky to have a basement area. We don’t have those in SE TX....too much water in the ground (especially now!).

Sounds like you have a great set-up, HH. I like your style of having nondescript on the outside....any comfort you require, on the inside! And....that wonderful, cool basement.

the landscape changes in Israel are interesting but after the wrath there will be NO pagans, none, zip, nada. Thinking about it is what brings me such peace.

Rev 16:19
19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath.

all the skyscrapers (towers of babel?)...bye, bye!

but best of all “No longer will the fool be called noble.” Isaiah 32:5

the real problem we all know is that the decent people in this country are not making babies....

we used to depend on Catholics and Mormons to make big families....not any more...

when I hear the hate that some freepers have against women, and when I hear the disdain that so many have against children making noise in a plane or at a restaurant, I just cringe....

we have developed a culture of me/me/me and marriage and family is not the foundation of America anymore, and it shows....

if 1,000,000 law abiding, hard working, God loving people got married, and that couple each had 4 children who in turn did the same, etc etc....THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEMS WITH ILLEGALS.....we would crowd them out....

"they" say that we use only 10% of our intellect so perhaps its true that a person with an 80 IQ can make strides to improve...

some of the behaviors of ferals however, I think are simply genetic personality traits...the impulsiveness, the act first, think later, the constant egocentric thought patterns......I don't know how much of that one can be trained out of....

Somehow the concept of "raising your replacement" has fallen out of favor over the last few decades.

Rudyard Kipling put it well a century ago:

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

"They" are wrong about the ten percent stuff.

However there have been several cases of children who were classified as "retarded" who when placed in a proper environment suddenly turned out to be quite bright.

Very little of what you call "genetic" implying they are things that can not be changed, are in fact "genetic" in that sense. We are all born self centered and impulsive. These are the traits of child. They are and can be trained out children.

I know of no child that comes out the the womb thoughtful, empathic and patient except perhaps the one that was born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago.

People want to lay it off on genetics I find because it is easier.

Yet you find the same traits in generational welfare children of all shades.

Good for you, Taxman!

I didn’t think we’d be here already. The ‘plan’ was to save for another 5-10 years. BUT we both hit the wall about the same time. I started worrying more and more about being in Mexifornia when it all hits and hubby started hating his job more and more.

So we threw caution to the wind and made the change. We may regret it someday. But heck, what’s money? LOL!

you are probably 300 times more prepared than anyone around you. PLUS you see the truth about what is happening. THAT in itself is being prepared! That’s more than the Jews saw in WWII or the serfs in the Russian Revolution. Hopefully our outcome is much better!
