Chris Christie hits Jeb Bush on Iraq War

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie attempted to draw a bright line between himself and Jeb Bush on the Iraq War in a CNN interview on Tuesday, definitively stating that given the absence of weapons of mass destruction he wouldn't have authorized the war.

"I think President [George W.] Bush made the best decision he could at the time, given that his intelligence community was telling him that there was (weapons of mass destruction) and that there were other threats right there in Iraq," he told CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead."

"But I don't think you can honestly say that if we knew then that there was no (weapons of mass destruction), that the country should have gone to war," he said.

The comments were a direct response to Bush's support for the Iraq War during a Fox News interview.

Neither one will be the candidate . Therefore, their fights are irrelevant.

Furthermore, Christy has no leadership qualities and has a nerve to criticize anyone else’s.

Given the absence of sandwiches of mass coldcuts, Christie wouldn’t authorize anything.

Christie is such a dumb Fk.

They had weapons of mass destruction as they unleashed them on the Kurds
several times.

The consequences of the war showed that it was not in our national interests to nation-build in Iraq.

That may be true.

But it is a fact that Iraq had WMD’s that were used on the Kurds.

Just because the the U.S. Did not find them does not mean they did not
exist.

Exactly. Let the RINOs beat each other up as much as they want.

A picture of a pair of wallowing pigs would be better.

Chris Christie hits Jeb Bush on Iraq War

Punch from the chubby one would be fine as long as it doesn't sit on Jeb, that would be the end of Jeb.

I agree. RE: the presidency, Christie exists only on media life support.

Hard to identify his political high water mark, but it is in the receding past.

I’m fine with these two liberals duking it out.

This places Chris Christie to the left of Bush or to the left of the left.

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'
Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists]
