I was waiting to go to Kindergarten, but I know what happened. And I have very little idea what was happening back here in 1978-79 or 1981-82 when I was in Korea, so I understand what you’re saying, brother.

A friend of mine in college at the time cut his hair, put aside his hippie ways and worked for Gene McCarthy. He told me how things would be once Gene was elected.
I said, "Hubert Humphrey is going to be the Democratic nominee, and Richard Nixon will be the Republican nominee. And Nixon will win unless George Wallace throws it into the House."
I had to explain to him the role of the unions and how the Democratic Party worked. Gene McCarthy didn't stand a chance against the unions. I then had to explain to him how the Republican Party worked, how Rockefeller's repudiation of Goldwater four years earlier condemned him, and how Reagan wasn't ready yet. He looked disoriented when I was finished with him.
He's still a Sixties radical, and we keep in touch every Christmas.

Nixon would be MUCH preferable to this lunatic, either Clinton or Jebbie.

Walker is speaking to millions of American IT workers like me. You call him a slimeball, I call you out as a troll. Overall I like Cruz, but he is dead wrong on this subject and Walker is right.

"I'm not saying being a senator or a governor makes you better or worse automatically, 'cause Jimmy Carter was a governor and he wasn't that great either," Walker said. "But what it's about is leadership." Exactly. Walker and Cruz are both leaders. Others, not so much.

Walker is a BACKSTABBER of conservatives, like Romney,
like Rove, like McConnell, like Boehner.
Scum.
We all will write in Cruz’s name.

Ted has been a model of steadfast, courageous principle. Most recently, he has taken the stand in defense of marriage and Biblical values. In the past, he has stood forthright fighting against Obamacare and amnesty and fighting for the Constitution.
Meanwhile, both Rubio and Walker have been silent on the monumental issues of the day and instead direct their energies against Ted and against each other.

What does a Senator do.Senators represent the states. Congressmen represent the people. "Senator" means "old man" btw.

Explain Abraham Lincoln then. A month after Abe took office, the country came apart in a civil war that claimed more American lives than WW1, WW2, Korea, and Vietnam combined. Not a record we ever want to repeat.

I’m thinking somebody with more experience in working with people (like the average governor who has to get cooperation from legislators and others) might have done a better job of avoiding the conflict.

I’m not “all in” for Wishy-Washy-Walker, but Rubio stepped in it here. To insinuate that because a man is a Governor he is totally ignorant on Foreign Policy? Hell, I’m not a Governor and I’m “up to speed” on what’s going on in this world. When you’re a one-term Senator and the current President, the greatest failure in the history of this nation, was a one-term Senator elected to the Presidency it might be best to just shut up while you’re ahead.
