It's Friday Baby!

I had sent my money and information to some guy, working on behalf of the President of Nigeria.

Sadly, I haven't heard back.

Two weeks ago the government of Nigeria contacted me regarding my good fortune of having someb $2,500,000 available to me, as act of repatriation of my property.

While, I was literally drunk during the time they say I opend my account, in their national bank, I really cannot believe nor recall having made such a deposit and I just do not remember opening a bank account in their most glorious and 21st Century advance country.

I wish now, I had simply stayed and become a citizen of the most wonderful country on Earth.

Still, I did not want break their laws and find myself in jeopardy, which could have resulted in my incarceration for who knows how many years.

Certainly, I am more comfortable in the knowledge I did the right thing.

I hope May He Co will follow the leadership of Nigeria amd help me over come my current poverty.

As it is, I may very well find myself in the position of being forced to call upon and old friend, Sally Struthers, in the hope one or more of those poor children will sponsor me.

Can anyone tell me if this legit?

I ask, only because I think I may have been had bu the other guys.

This terrific news, however, is sponsored by Microsoft. A company and people who I have always found to be innovative and certainly more reliable than that....other company...Apple.

If any of you could provide me some disgusting humor, at the expense of my personage and a bit of sarcasm, I would be forever in your debt and will owe you my first and 3rd children as a measure of my gratitude.

Fer Evuh yoo inz and my limited gratitude.

Word! !!!

ping.

I remember lowbridge also had a website with other examples, and the one where he pretended to be Marcus Welby, MD, was hilarious.

I’ve been getting e-mail notifications of problems with my Facebook account. One problem: I’ve never had one.

All anyone promised me was a way to save $2500 on health insurance. It was a scam too.

Mrs. JimRed might not be too pleased if I did so.

I recently reported to the FBI and FTC an elaborate scam which first sent an email regarding an undelivered FedEx ... the tracking number was bogus and my computer identified a virus attached so I didn't open the attachment.

Then I got a call from the prize department of 'Megamillions' telling me that a prize gaggle would be delivering my prizes in the most recent megamillions sweepstakes (to which I had not bought a ticket). The only thing was, I had to send $1,108.56 to a person in Lithonia, GA, via Western Union cash, to settle the federal tax registry before I would be allowed to sign for the prizes ... which included 1.5 million dollars, a new Nissan Altima with two years of insurance from Liberty Mutual, and a $500,000 bonus prize from Bank of America.

These scammers were very persistent and I informed them that I was recording the calls, which didn't seem to bother them since they were spoofing the phone numbers, even using one registered as a cell phone in Jamaica. The FTC folks got a kick out of all that and even opened a case file. The FBI got a laugh out of it and ushered me along to the FTC to handle it all. BTW, one of the spoofed phone numbers was local! Pretty sophisticated bunch of bunk scum, eh what!

My brother was looking for a job one time. Some guy wrote him and asked him to “work” for him on a temporary thing. Basically chauffeur him around on a visit and be his go-fer.

weird.

Then the guy says he will send a check in advance (as “proof”), but it was more than agreed and my brother was asked to send the rest back BEFORE cashing the check.

I told him it was a scam immediately after I heard about it.

The check was bogus of course. My brother would have been out hundreds of dollars - he really wanted to believe this was real too. The bank told him it was a bogus check too.
