Senator and presidential candidate Ted Cruz (R-TX) expressed pride that Washington elites despise me because its both parties that arent listening to the American people on Mondays Hannity on the Fox News Channel.

While I personally thing Cruz has next to no chance of winning, I DO love this aspect of his candidacy. Gotta love it when someone pisses all of em off.
McQueeg ain’t gonna like this.
I don’t think he has “no” chance of winning although he’s definately a long shot.
It will be interesting to see if any other candidates try to pick up the ‘both parties suck’ line. It is a winner, IMO.
I am thinking more that Senator Cruz is “warning” the GOPe that the days of same-old, same-old, is coming to a close and can no longer be supported.
Defeatism before the battle is even joined. What ever happened to “build it and they will come?”
I know that’s a clever Hollywood line meant for an audience of entirely different makeup. But I can’t help but think about how dire and forlorn things must have been in the early stages of when patriots won this country against odds that seemed insurmountable at the time.
“Dark Horse”
Indian summer, Abeline
You were new in town, I was nineteen
And the sparks flew
They called us crazy behind our backs
Romantic fools, we just let them laugh
Because we knew
It may be a long shot
We may get lonely down the line
Love knows no reason
And I won’t let ‘em make up my mind
My money’s riding on this dark horse, baby
My heart is saying it’s the lucky one
And it’s true color’s gonna shine through someday
If we let this, let this dark horse run
Stars are brighter in a desert sky
No need to wonder or justify
Where this will lead
I wear your locket, our picture’s inside
Inscription says “the joy’s in the ride”
And I believe
That something so sacred
Is something worth this kind of fight
‘Cause love knows no patience, no, no
You can’t please everyone all the time
My money’s riding on this dark horse, baby
My heart is saying it’s the lucky one
And it’s true color’s gonna shine through someday
If we let this, let this dark horse run
So rare
So sweet
Together baby, I know
We can disappear
Be free
Ooh, my money’s riding on this dark horse, baby
My heart is saying it’s the lucky one
And it’s true color’s gonna shine through someday
If we let this, let it run, baby
My money’s riding on this dark horse, baby
My heart is saying it’s the lucky one
And it’s true color’s gonna shine through someday
If we let this, let this dark horse run
Indian summer, Abeline
You were new in town, I was nineteen
Yeah, baby
In the summertime
Hey, yeah
Ooh
Even if he doesn’t win, Cruz will influence the winner and that is something the Republican Party desperately needs if it wants to survive the 2016 elections.
LOVE IT!!!!!!!
I think he does. He speaks passionately. He really believes it that the historic principles of the US are worth returning to. Keep in mind that Romney and McCain did nothing to craft a message to inspire younger voters. Ted Cruz can get a lot of those people listening and voting for him.
I also suspect that the infantile DC crowd (particularly the Republican backstabbers) are going to have to tread very carefully, or they'll be primaried by both Rand Paul and Ted Cruz supporters.
Cryin'Lyin' Boner and Yertle the Tertle, along with that idiot Peter King can all go to hell.
Nearly every damned one of these fools have forgotten what they're in Washington to do and who they are there for.
I'm in my sixth decade on this world and never have I been so disgusted with my own political allies.
The only ones in the place that have any testicular fortitude are instantly marginalized by their own party!
They're scared to death of that bitch and they are so damned afraid of being called racist, that they will not challenge the muslim on anything.
I am fed up with it.
I will support Ted Cruz with all my power, and if we all go down in flames at the end, you'll see me fanning them on the way down.
I renounce the Republican Party and I'm on my way down to the Registrar today to change to Independent.
That (I) means nothing, because a true independent would consider a vote for a democrat...but I'd cut my own throat before I'd vote for a dim.
But I damn sure have reservations about voting for a lot of the so-called republicans we have running around.
Go Ted!
The republican establishment won’t allow Cruz to get anywhere near the nomination.
They don’t want a fire breather dedicated to changing the system.
They just want to get their hands on the control levers of power and the keys to the treasury for themselves and their pals.
They will destroy Cruz, give Jeb their blessing and turn conservatives against the GOP even more.
In 2016 conservatives won’t go to the polls to vote for the lesser of two evils and Hillary will waddle to an easy win over Jeb.
Throw in a robust 3rd party vote and Hillary can score the THIRD Clintonian plurality win for POTUS!
What you said, except I just entered my seventh decade of life.
I think Ted CAN win. The more people are exposed to him the more they’ll like him and see that he is the man saying what they’ve been longing to hear.
Teds haters and detractors are afraid of that, which is why the barrage against Ted will be constant from the left (which of course includes “journalists”).
