I bet all these liberal academics were in support of the SCT when it ruled that American Nazis had the right to march and speak in Skokie, Ill. , a town with a large number of Jews who were being made uncomfortable by the Nazi anti-Semitism.

The libs changed the definition of what constitutes sexual harassment as well. When they can’t get their desired result by following the standard rules, definitions, or regulations, they change them to suit their needs, or manipulate the findings. We’ve seen them do it time and time again over the years.

We need to stop this nonsense of “you make me uncomfortable & therefore you must go”. But, as long as that is the apparent rule, I can be uncomfortable, too.

Men dressed a women make me uncomfortable & I feel threatened by someone so confused by something so simple. Same for women dressed as men.

People who are covered from head to toe with tattoos make me uncomfortable. I feel threatened by someone with so little respect for their own body, that they likely have no respect for me, either.

People that constantly call white people racist & privileged seem threatening to me. Being around them makes me uncomfortable & I’d rather not associate with them.

This is just my short list, but THEY MUST BE BANISHED FROM WHEREVER I AM.

To hell with freedom of speech & expression, right?

Whatever happened to “sticks & stones.....”? Whatever happened to free & open discussion of issues?

These offended students are in for a rude awakening IF they ever enter the real world. They shouldn’t expect a lot of success in life.

The article calls it a small “liberal arts” college. There aren’t many colleges that aren’t liberal arts.

There are always exceptions.

That generation by and large is addicted to “rap” music”.

They are feeding their minds and souls on spiritual junk food

It’s rule by men, not rule by law. So it’s arbitrary. Any judge can say anything they want to, and the people are fresh out of luck.

Pancho Savery. That’s a guy?

Maybe one of the girls in class could report to campus police that something Savery does or says makes her feel “assaulted”. Then see how the “rape culture” narrative unfolds...

Irony of it all is that Reed is where the movie Animal House was filmed...

Incidentally, during the late 1990s I lived in Portland, and was on the Reed campus frequently because a group I belonged to met there weekly. Very beautiful environment. Commie stronghold of course.

Oops, sorry, I was wrong, it was U of Oregon in Eugene.

I somehow acquired the assumption that Animal House was filmed at the now-defunct Parsons College, Fairfield, Iowa. But, I confess, I never researched the matter.

You are right. According to the Wikipedia:

The president of the University of Oregon in Eugene, William Beaty Boyd,[10] had been a senior administrator of a major California university when his campus was considered for a location of the film The Graduate.[5] After he consulted with other senior administrative colleagues who advised him to turn it down due to the lack of artistic merit, production moved to Berkeley and USC. The Graduate went on to become a classic, and Boyd was determined not to make the same mistake twice when the producers [of Animal House] inquired about filming at Oregon. After consulting with student government leaders and officers of the Pan Hellenic Council, the Director of University Relations advised the president that the script, although raunchy and often tasteless, was a very funny spoof of college life. Boyd even allowed the filmmakers to use his office as Dean Wormer's.[5]

“Rants” don’t really happen in college classes, unless it’s the professor.

What is it about professors that makes so many of them: 1)mentally limited to the extent that they’re communist and 2)unable to understand that communism is an agenda?

This young man has learned a valuable life’s lesson. Don’t argue with women. Say what you have to say and then ignore them. ;)

Liberals LOVE diversity. Except for the only one that matters, diversity of opinion.

Student “rants” happen more often that you think.

Re professors: Because they are usually those that never worked in the real world, been wrapped in “intellectual” certitude for so long that reality has no place. And they are smug in their “I’m better than you” attitude because, you know, they are ‘smart.’
