KING, Wis. At the old union hall here on a recent afternoon, Terry Magnant sat at the head of a table surrounded by 18 empty chairs. A members meeting had been scheduled to start a half-hour earlier, but the small house, with its cracked walls and loose roof shingles, was lonely and desolate.

This may be one of the last chances to get America working again, folks.
Scott Walker 2016!!!
The Unions need to offer a better service at a lower price or wither.
Unions have been a big source of democrat money for a long time. They smell blood. Their own. After the moaning is done....
you can bet they’ll fight walker with a feral ferocity.
Unions protect the bad and stifle the good.
Glad to see Walker’s hallmark success highlighted in the Pest, even if it’s a hit piece.
He has to get convincingly right on the wetback issue. Given his extant ambiguity and waffling I don’t think he can be convincing.
GOOD! That is very, very good.
Good!
Walker is not my first choice for president but I appreciate the fact that he’s got the lefties going completely bonkers and loony far more than usual.
Got any other rock-solid reasons why I should support him?
that’s actually a pretty good piece. I don’t think that’s what the reporter intended, but it came out that way.
Finally, the Washington Post publishes a feel good story about Walker.
No wonder the WI economy is improving by leaps and bounds.
The Washington Post’s attitude toward unions can be summed up in three words when its THEIR money: Kick em out! The owner Katherine Graham, working with executive editor and Kennedy pal Ben Bradlee, screwed the pressmen’s union right out of the building, fired them all, printed their newspapers at offsite scab locations and totally broke the strike, worse than Carnegie and Frick at Pittsburgh in the 1880s. Its always say as you should, not as WE do with that stinking newspaper.
CHOICE -
Joining a Union, BAD.
Murdering the Unborn, GOOD.
Well...golly gee, gawrsh and shucks.
Exactly. My first thought was ‘oh boo freakin hoo. so cry me a river’
The public unions were an unofficial adjunct of the Democratic Party.
They drove WI into bankruptcy. The Democrats tried to get rid of Scott Walker three times.
They failed and their power is draining away.
