I agree. I was surprised to see it in the Post, or put another way, I was surprised how favorable the article turned out, considering it was in the Post.
The drop off in union membership was stunning and will only drop more as time goes on and more and more union members wonder why they’re wasting their money on dues. Essentially Act 10 took nearly all power away from public sector unions to negotiate terms of employment.
I think public sector employees in Wisconsin are going to find that, 10 years from now, they are working in better institutions, and are viewed more favorably by the general public.
