Washington Is Mitt Romney fighting the wrong political war?
That question is apropos because the 2012 GOP presidential nominee gave a substance-heavy speech in Mississippi Wednesday night that laid out themes and approaches for a Romney re-redux. Thus the US political world has some hard data on which to rely as it mulls Mitts surprising decision to (probably) launch a third try for the presidency.
The speech showed a hunger to step back into the ring," writes Washington Post political reporter Philip Rucker. As Romney aides hinted beforehand, it was full of direct swipes at Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Mr. Romney questioned Ms. Clintons economic worldview, wondering whether she could provide opportunity for all if she doesnt know where all the jobs come from in the first place. He described the former secretary of State as timid in foreign policy, wrong about Russia, wrong about the Middle East, and wrong about the chaos facing Libya and other North African nations. [...]

No more Bush/Romneys or Romney/Bushes
Fine, look at the past but, you dont need to stare at it.
Not that it matters.
Mutt fk’d up twice, with great aplomb and in a memorable fashion.
He wants to get back in the ring again and just stand there like he doesn’t care what happens. This man is a complete “no show” when it comes to the “rubber meeting the road.”
Who in their right mind would vote for him again?
No more wimpy campaigns!

Romney just went all in supporting Global Warming/Climate change legislation. He’s toast. But I man not mind him entering the primary to further split the RINO vote among Christie, Bush and Huckabee.
Be nice if this time it was the GOPe who did the circular firing squad.
Is Mitt Romney fighting the wrong war on politics ???
Yes.. Hes on the wrong side of politics..
or in the wrong party..
but I repeat myself...
He did not try to win in 2012 thus he is not “still” trying to win, not the presidency, anyway. He would like to be nominated again, though.

In before RomneyBots claim Mitt is a gentleman..
Yeah like Sandra Fluke is a lady...
A futures speculator who claims economic collapse is imminent (that was in 2013)? Yeah, hitch your wagon to a star.
The ones that matter, the RNC and the Chamber of Commerce.
There once was a facade named Mr. RomneyCARE,
who claimed to live in 5 states, everywhere,
he destroyed the Mass economy in a fall,
imposed gay marriage and DeathCARE on all,
and then ran for POTUS but ran like a hare.
The vote split among the gopes won’t occur until the later primaries after the gope money has stinkified the conservatives to unviability in the early primaries. The conservatives who ran last time will smear each other in co-operation with the gope money. Maybe there will be new faces that won’t engage in that behaviour. If any one can take the relevant lessons from Reagan’s run he will have a very good chance of being the Nominee.
I know I’ll NEVER even consider voting for him. I don’t care if he’s running against the Devil himself.
Romney probably undestands foreign policy. He understands business, too. Unfortunately, the aim of big business is to become a state protected monopoly and he understands the benefits of that. He is effectively a corporativist/socialist/statist. At this stage of American history the Republic wouldn’t survive him any better than it would Hillary. The biggest names running are all more concerned with Power and Control than with the Republic and the Constitution.

He is a mercantilist which is just another kind of corporativist/socialist/statist. At this stage of American history the Republic wouldn’t survive him any better than it would Hillary. Ran like a statue but statue doesn’t rhyme or scan.
