Fine, look at the past but, you dont need to stare at it.

Not that it matters.

Mutt fk’d up twice, with great aplomb and in a memorable fashion.

He wants to get back in the ring again and just stand there like he doesn’t care what happens. This man is a complete “no show” when it comes to the “rubber meeting the road.”

Who in their right mind would vote for him again?

Romney just went all in supporting Global Warming/Climate change legislation. He’s toast. But I man not mind him entering the primary to further split the RINO vote among Christie, Bush and Huckabee.

He did not try to win in 2012 thus he is not “still” trying to win, not the presidency, anyway. He would like to be nominated again, though.

There once was a facade named Mr. RomneyCARE,
who claimed to live in 5 states, everywhere,
he destroyed the Mass economy in a fall,
imposed gay marriage and DeathCARE on all,
and then ran for POTUS but ran like a hare.

"Mitt Romney Credits Jonathan Gruber For "Econometric Model””
It can be OK to be wrong about something. Look, in 1948 Ronald Reagan was wrong about everything. You can see on YouTube that he was inveighing against Republicans as a flat-out liberal Democrat.

What’s the difference between Romney and Reagan? Reagan had his “Road to Damascus.” The time Reagan spent as a paid spokesman for GE put him on the spot to actually learn - and he did. By 1964 he came out publicly for Goldwater, in his famous “the speech.”

Mitt Romney has been a liberal, possibly even as liberal as Reagan was in ’48 - but although he now claims the mantle of “conservatism,” he has never completely divorced himself from liberalism.

As his “severe conservative” comment illustrates, his conservatism is barely skin deep. What real conservative thinks that conservatism is “severe?” No mistake - and no sign of “extremism” - that conservatives don’t recognize Romney as one of their own. He ain’t.

jBTW I love your handle; American “conservatism” is a strange duck. Conserving freedom means conserving the ability to change.
