Is the economy rigged against the middle class? The Democratic left's dream candidate -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren -- thinks so.

"I see evidence everywhere of the pounding working people are taking," Warren said on Wednesday at an AFL-CIO summit on raising wages.

"These families are working harder than ever, but they can't get ahead. Many feel that the game is rigged against them, and they are right. The game is rigged against them."

Her argument, of course, is that the government must intervene to level the playing field.

But Warren must not be looking very hard if she can't see that the free market is rigged in favor of working families, not against them.

What about Elizabeth personal "benefits?" She has parlayed dubious claims of American Indian ethnicity and a position at Harvard to a personal fortune valued at between 3 million and $10 million.

How many American tax dollars been diverted to the elitists at Harvard? How much of our national treasury has been squandered on claims dubious or real of American Indians? To indulge a redundancy, Elizabeth Warren is a liberal hypocrite.

More importantly, she is a very dangerous political operative with an appealing redistributionist message very persuasive to the ill-informed. The reality, Elizabeth Warren is the latest in a long list of liberal messiahs who will get socialism right this time playing whack-a-mole to relieve us of the unintended consequences of the last socialist nostrum.

commies use the ambiguous language but what they really mean can be heard when they think nobody is listening. Like the “anti-rape” movement, they make up a strawman and argue against the strawman. Who is pro-rape? I guess everyone that doesn’t want to see an iron-fisted approach to social interaction guided by government. If you disagree, you must want women to be abused and forced to have babies.

In fact, she and her ilk despise the middle class and endeavor to keep them down with an ever growing tax burden in the name of fairness. They see the middle class as the problem and wonder why they can’t be happy with the scraps thrown to them by the overlords that know better.

Chavez did this in Venezuela. If their objectively compare pre-Chavez and now, how many would gladly return to the old days where there where no food shortages, the electricity stayed on and toilet paper and soap filled the shelves. This is the left’s vision for the US.

Elizabeth Warren will own the issue unless some articulate Republican takes ownership of the issue of reining in the Federal Reserve and that banking policies have starved the responsible elements of the middle class.

Government is NEVER the solution to anything. Government involvement in the private sector is the cause of every social problem, bar none. Government is the enemy of freedom.
Current government is, in fact, the enemy of our constitution. It works assiduously to enslave citizens to its will.
Unless and until government as it is now constituted is overthrown and constitutional government is reestablished we will never be rid of the tyranny that besets us.
