They caught him later and he was a multi-convicted violent felon. I, of course, did not know that at the time. I armed myself with a 1911 and went down to my car. He was long gone, but the pigs threatened to arrest ME for arming myself. The the female pig (sow?) actually lectured me about how I could have tripped and fallen and the gun go off and kill an innocent person. Here I am a former Marine infantryman who served in Beirut in 83 being lectured by an overweigh sow about handling a 1911 pistol!

I understood that, and I appreciate where you’re coming from. I just didn’t want them to have 48 hours to call in the National Guard and lessen the chaos the “Blue Flu” days would cause.

Thanks for all the responses; agreeable or disagreeable. I know my Vanity Post was harsh and extreme. I guess I'm just wanting to wreak as much havoc as possible to show these "cop haters" how stupid they are. Maybe that's why my screen name is "Din Maker". (LOL) I think I'll have a bumper sticker made up that reads: "Hate cops? Next time you need help, call a drug dealer."

The process of going “sick” on this job is very easy. You just have to call in and you are entitled to two shifts off. However, if an unusually high number of officers call out sick they can be ordered to go see a department surgeon who will verify if they are sick or not and can order them into work. The penalties for not showing up to work when ordered to can be relatively severe.
