We discussed this on another thread: it’s because Christianity is percieved as “the white man’s religion”, the religion of the slavers, and therefore must be repudiated at least (at most, eradicated).
Every day, out here in semi-rural PAlabama, crops are tended, grass is cut, cows are milked, snow is plowed, and houses are taken care of.
Kids go to school on time, parents likewise to work, older folks feel safe, boundaries are honored, and flags are flown.
Most of the neighbors keep at least a 12ga handy, and about the only cops we see are on their way to somewhere else.
Though not monoracial, that is the culture that's grown and respected.

Your imagination is silly, if you think your idea is realistic or has merit and isn’t silly, then start trying to sell it politically, get it on a ballot, get politicians’ to embrace it, perhaps your mayor or congressman will love and eagerly start promoting it as wise and brilliant.
Well for one thing Ferguson couldn’t take the loss in revenue from all the tickets and citations that wouldn’t get written.

None. The police have zero constitutional responsibility to protect any specific citizen.
That is part of what the second amendment is for.
If the cops in NYC took a week off then the city would finally be safe for the Second Amendment.

I thought of a variation on this:
All cops in NYC refuse to enforce the laws against selling untaxed cigarettes. Let Delousio go out and collect revenues himself. Maybe Al Bumpkin will go out with him.
Like I said, it is too silly to discuss, not every little thing you imagine sounds good in your own head, is worth other people wasting time on.

I object. I am a Libertarian. We recognise national defense, civic police and a good court system as basic to the Constitution. The real job of government.
I make a point of thanking officers for their service, buy them a donut once in a while
Honestly... All of the officers would immediately receive days off without pay as punishment. There would be an internal investigation of each officer that called in sick. The ones with a doctor approved excuse would have to fight for a couple of years to receive their pay back, and have the mark removed from their record. If it is ruled as a strike action (which is illegal) then they will be fired.
