What’s riots?
And exactly how are they going to “commemorate” that event-riot and burn it again?
There are already several commemorations going on right now, starting with the Ferguson looting-fest.
Democrats haven’t learned much, have they, except another way of denigrating Negros (by bribery).
Happy Thanksgiving!
FMCDH(BITS)
this is basically a recognition among blacks that post Obama, people are finding it harder and harder to feel sorry for black people.
this is an attempt to renew their stays as Historically Aggrieved Party.
They are pitying, not even sympathizing, today.
Absolutely. Bernard Parks would be the one to lead the act.
Liberals are always good for finding something new in the realm of ridiculousness.
Are these people serious? Are they demented???
We’re going to celebrate the anniversary of the Watts riots??? Really??? It was an historic turning point in the civil rights movement??? We are going to celebrate??? What the heck???
They haven’t learned much at all-and they certainly can’t commemorate something positive-that would make too many Black people start thinking and listening to people like Dr. Ben Carson, Thomas Sowell, Dr. Alveda King, Niger Innis, Senator Tim Scott, etc-then they wouldn’t be voting for democrats for the next hundred years, like that notorious racist LBJ promised the democrats they would...
My whole (Hispanic) family had an almost pathological hatred of LBJ...
They saw the phoniness, huh. It was about glorifying government, of which lucky he got to be part of — not about glorifying God.
Isn’t Watts testament enough?
‘hack
My parents told me a story about some water debacle that happened when they were young that involved ranchers near land LBJ owned getting screwed out of water rights by him and his political cronies that he paid off to file falsified deeds-being ranchers themselves, the family dislike was built a lot on that. I learned to hate him when he dithered on Nam and some of my friends died fighting there.
Some actual skulduggery... I can see how they’d be good and mad, that was not fair.
Shore it was... which is why Watts never recovered from the riots.
Why would any sane person commemorate them?
