Wow! After all the money spent by Battleground Texas spreading seditious lies, the Republican candidate for Lt. Gov. actually out polled the Hispanic Democrat woman candidate for that position.

I’ve met the Van de Puttes. Very nice people who are the wrong side of the political fence. No way I’d vote for her no matter how nice a guy her husband is though. When you elect one Democrat you get the whole party with them.

Patrick thumped Van de Putte among Hispanic men, 53-46. Hispanic MEN. Not Hispanic victims. Not illegals. Hispanic men - family men is my guess... responsible - hard working - church going.... fathers... husbands...
Democrats want angry, dependent, and broken... must have been a rude awakening for democrats...
This is so cool...

This was the biggest news of the election. If there was one race the Dems wanted, really needed, it was this one. They knew that US Senate and Governor were hopeless. So they took an experienced Latina State Senator and put her up against the most anti-immigrant politician to run in the state (as they see it, obviously not true).
She got TROUNCED, and it was Hispanics themselves that refused to join their little plan.

Probably one of the most quiet points about Mexican heritaged Texans is that the ones with deep roots, (example 6 or 7 generatiions) do not want or like the invasion of the hoard. That is why you see a residual 25-40% conservative or GOP vote.
Versus black America which would vote 90% for even Hitler if he had "D" after his name.
