“...the Intercollegiate Society of Socialists, locating its meetings at Pecks Restaurant in Boston...”
Interesting info! It demonstrates the high-minded elitist nature of our enemies.

BTW, did anyone notice Lane Evans died 3 days before Crane (the day after the election) ?
I read about that. When I read a headline on AOL that a former IL congressman had died a few days later, I thought, wow AOL is lagging a bit. It was quite a surprise when I read it wasn't Lane Evans. Actually, I first thought it was Phil Hare, Evans' successor! The gray matter had to register that the last name was Crane.
It's a sad state that Dem-led gerrymandering has twisted both of those seats away from us.

Rest in Peace Phil Crane. We met him when he campaigned for our congressman in NC. So many other good conservative congressmen, Steve Simms, Bob Bowman, Larry McDonald, Phil Crane. They formed a Truth Squad and toured the country, spreading the truth about democrat lies. Good guys all.
Dr. Crane, Phil Crane's father, had a syndicated newspaper column, helping families and couples both medically and psychologically. We liked his old fashioned remedies and common sense advice, now with the spiffier name of Holistic medicine. He was of course, up to date on modern medicine and approach.
The Cranes were quite a productive family with traditional American values. Bless them all.

And he was passed up again in 2000 in favor of Bill Thomas, I remember reading about that at the time. A shame the dean of House Republicans never got to chair a committee.
Who would succeeded Congressman Fitzgerald in 1998? Al Salvi! Instead of running for Sec of State.
Yeah I heard Evans kicked, RIP, I guess.

I’m very sorry to hear this. I voted for him for President in the 1980 Republican primary.
