One might be able to excuse Democratic spin before the election returns came in. But former Newsweek reporter Andrew Romano offered a real beaut the morning after at Yahoo News, titled How Hillary Clinton won the 2014 midterms."
Many of the candidates that the Clintons backed in this cycle went down to defeat. While Romano isnt denying 2014 was a good year for Republicans, he could not wait to start shaking the pom-poms for how Hillarys path is greased for the White House. This is the article that liberals will want to read after they put their handkerchiefs down:

Let’s see how he feels after the Senate hearings on Benghazi...with Hillary under oath. I’d also like to hear Obama explain, under oath, where he was the evening of the Banghazi attack.
1 - Republican legislature and governor victories ensuring a maximum amount of GOP state control in 2020 when the census results in re-districting. Republicans have the prime gerryamder position, so even if Hillary was to win in 2016, she has zero chance of having a House during her entire tenure in office.
2 - All of the candidates she stumped for went down to blazing defeats.
3 - The main Clintoon goal of securing the Florida governorship, no doubt for some fraud shenanigans in 2016, failed miserably as Crist came up short.
It is impossible to spin this into a Hillary win.
well look, the guy isn’t saying Hillary was any good, he’s talking about the math, and its hard to refute the 242 electoral vote head start.
4. The war on women is over.
Both of the women (Mara Liasson and A.B. Stoddard) on the Bret Baier panel last night tried to spin this story. Stephen Hayes laughed them off the set.
Republicans have the house and the senate and conservatives have a decent amount of influence in both now. We are comfortably positioned at this time IMO. I don’t want to have to hold my nose when I vote for President but with this much control over the legislature and with the whitehouse, we could really change the judicial landscape in this country. Whatever or whoever it takes to beat Hillary Clinton in 2016, I’ll vote for it.
Senator Warren won. After yesterday’s results, the Dems need to go to their most off-the-deepend Left Wing types.
I saw that yesterday and scoffed. The. I turned on Rush. He proceeded to describe how all the politicians who had the hands on backing of Hitlery LOST. case closed.
An "unnamed Republican candidate" beats Clinton by 4 points?
Fox News reported yesterday morning that all 23 or 30 rat candidates (I don’t remember the exact number) that they stumped for, lost.
The “it depends” crowd... they are referring to the rapidly aging Hillary, right?
I love the lamentations of the women. That is my favorite part.
Why is she not in the federal penitentiary for life?
Shake the pom-poms all you want, but .. the burka you are wearing gives you away !
I suggest you ask for more money , since you appear to be a cheap _hore ; at least get more money, or you are who you appear to be.
We really need a brain damaged POTUS!
“under oath........”
Do you really think that that is an impediment to lying for either of them?
Hillary! Backer of LOSERS:
Alison Lundergan Grimes, KY-Sen: Loss.
Michelle Nunn, GA-Sen: Loss.
Mark Pryor, AR-Sen: Loss.
Mark Udall, CO-Sen: Loss.
Bruce Braley, IA-Sen: Loss.
Kay Hagan, NC-Sen: Loss.
Mary Landrieu, LA-Sen: Run off. (i.e., Loss.)
Mark Schauer, MI-Gov: Loss.
Pat Quinn, IL-Gov: Loss.
Charlie Crist, FL-Gov: Loss.
Mike Michaud, ME-Gov: Loss.
Martha Coakley, MA-Gov: Loss.
Anthony Brown, MD-Gov: Loss.
Yup. 242EVs.
And if we couldn’t win in Virginia (13EVs) during this kind of a huge Republican year, then I tend to wonder how we’re going to do when the Virginia Democrat fraud/GOTV machine wakes-up for the 2016 cycle. The city-dwelling northern part of the state continues to expand. That gets them to 255EVs.
Whomever we nominate has to inspire conservatives to not sit out. To come out and vote in droves.
