Wealth-X this week released its list of the richest person in each of the 50 states and ranked them by estimated net worth. Micky Arison, chairman of Carnival Corp. — the world's largest cruise line, is the wealthiest individual in Florida with an estimated net worth of $6.5 billion.....

Because of his association with the NBA, the Florida media never criticizes him as a member of the 1%.

I am not certain but it seems of the top ten, more are liberals than conservatives. From what I read, Buffett and Gates are bigtime Obama backers.

Hm. John Menard, whose company jingle is: “You save big money, you save big money, save big money at Menards!” is Wisconsin’s richest. Apparently, there is BIG Money in the home improvement business. Or jewelry. Or candy. Or groceries. Or videos. It started as a lumber and home improvement store, and just keeps adding lines.

Wouldn't billionaire investors want society to have a strong family structure, and citizens with more disposable income and wealth, and not addicted to illegal drugs - since such citizens would make the best "customers" and "employees" ?
