Heroes come in all sizes and all ages, as illustrated by this story. An 11 year old girl in Oklahoma has certainly earned that title after her brave actions to defend her mother yesterday.
After a violent ex-boyfriend came to Brandy Moreno’s home (who she had a protective order against), he attacked and stabbed her. Fortunately, her 11 year old daughter knew just what to do. According to The Oklahoman,

Kids and guns. Being OK, will the mom be charged with leaving a firearm where a child could gain access to it or for not having a trigger lock installed? Good shootin' young lady. You should carry no guilt for saving your mom.

This is a gun problem. If that gun hadn’t been in the house the victim of the shooting would probably not have resorted to violence to get in and molest the mom and the girl. This story is typical NRA right wing propaganda, always blaming the victim of gun violence. Plus, it’s racist, because of capitalism.

It sounds like mom has not been strictly careful with the home environment... and maybe that is not new for that household.
I think too much of this goes on. Single women who are raising children, need to have some common sense here.
