You’re not alone in thinking that Daniel...though his conversion from Islam may well be genuine, he started “teaching” too soon after, and IMO had not given himself time to unravel the Islamic indoctrination so you can tell at times that gets tangled into his presentations at times.
For Muslims coming out of Islam it is similar to those who come out of cults...except they’ve been “brainwashed from early childhood clear thru to adulthood.....the mental wokr to unravel their heads simply needs time...years in fact in most cases.
