Meghan Marzec, the President of the Ohio University student Senate turned the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge into an anti-Israel blood bucket challenge. At a Student Senate Meeting Wednesday evening, pro-Israel students protested the anti-Israel action and several of the pro-Israel students were escorted out and arrested by campus police.
According to the student newspaper, The Post:
Ohio University Police Department Chief Andrew Powers told The Post that four students were arrested at Wednesday night’s Student Senate meeting in Walter Hall.
... Rabbi Danielle LeShaw, who went with the arrested students to OUPD’s station, told The Post they were charged with a fourth degree misdemeanor for disturbing a lawful meeting.
The four students arrested and charged were Maxwell Peltz, 20; Rebecca Sebo, 22; Gabriel Sirkin, 20; Jonah Yulish, 19. They are scheduled to appear in Athens Municipal Court Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m.
In Ohio, if convicted, such a charge can carry a maximum sentence of up to 30 days in jail, and a $250 fine.
All the arrested students have been released, according to an OUPD clerk.
Before the senate meeting was called to order [Student Speakout period], President of Bobcats for Israel, Becky Sebo, was the first to speak at the meeting. She read a speech directly at Marzec, who said several times during the meeting that she wanted to hear from students, but in an orderly fashion.
Sebo stated in her remarks that she is in favor of free speech and that any threats of violence made against Marzec are “unacceptable.” She said Bobcats for Israel is calling for Marzec’s resignation because Marzec, as senate president, took the stance that Israel has committed “atrocities” against Palestine.

To me, it doesn't seem like much has changed in 2000 years. But then, that's just my opinion.

The campus police arrested the wrong students and the university is remiss for not disciplining, impeaching or expelling the student body president who no only prohibited the free speech rights of the Pro Israel students, but has participated in violent Pro Islamic, Pro Palestinian, and Antisemitic protests.
So much stupidity here, it hurts.
Mz. Marzec might have taken a moment to remember that, as President of the Student Senate, she’s supposed to be representing everyone’s interests, not just her own.
Ms. Marzec also might take a moment and realize that “student government” at most universities is generally little more than a club for the BMOC types and the egregiously self-important (like Marzec). You can’t make the university do anything, really. You might make other students miserable with your nonsense, but you aren’t changing anything of import on campus or in the middle east.
I did some checking with other stories, and it does appear that Marzec has gotten threatened by a few kooks. Passions run high on this issue, particularly when Marzec did such an inflammatory video. Still, that sort of response is wrong and idiotic, too. Assuming none of them were faked, which is possible.
As for the kids arrested...I think it was darned if they did, darned if they don’t. They did indeed disrupt the meeting, and in better circumstances, should have used different methods. But I seriously doubt they would have gotten the chance to speak had they played by Mizz Marzec’s rules. Few arenas are more stifling to actual vigorous debate than college campuses. Especially when it is a group’s leader being called on her BS.
I’d lay money that doofus ranting about the pro-Israel folks at the end is trying very hard to get into Marzec’s pants.
BTW, here’s the original video that set everything in motion. Not sure what Marzec is majoring in, but judging from the poor lighting and worse sound, it’s not anything related to T-Com or audio engineering.

Just an idle observation - you tried paying cash for anything bigger than a pack of gum recently? Figure a credit/debit card might technically count as a marking.
Now whether each of those sources are quoting each other, I don't know.
I watch and listen to what's going on in the world, but don't take it as "gospel". MAN's plans can get changed, in the twinkling of an eye.
I don't believe in "date" setting. But I do believe that the signs you mentioned are all converging and pointing to a time that appears to be not to far ahead.
To me, the main sign is Israel and the Jewish people.

The battle lines are being drawn and people are CHOOSING to fight God.
AND not just in our country. BUT...It's important to note, that the US- has been- known as a Christian nation, but non-Christians were always tolerant of Christian and our beliefs.
NOT SO anymore. Society has turned, and more and more is attacking Christian beliefs. I see the day approaching in the US, when laws will be placed, singling out Christians and our beliefs.
