This may have already been posted, as it's a couple days old. What is interesting now, is that it is very similar to what we are hearing to be true.

Someone posted an interesting youtube video on police training and how fast a suspect can over come you. If Michael Brown did rush Wilson, he had precious little time to respond. In the dynamics of that kind of situation, anything can happen, but the bottom line is survival.

Check out:

I feel sorry for the Liberals. They are always searching for their "Black Jesus" who gets gunned down (or otherwise abused) by an evil racist White...and they can never seem to find one.

There are several books about it:
1. To Kill a Mockingbird
2. A Time to Kill
3. The Lords of Discipline

This guy is going to get an anal probe like no other. A million reporters will be hunting down every word he said, every text, every tweet, every post. Interviewing every acquaintance girl friend teacher team mate and God help him his Ex wife....Unless he’s a saint they will make him out to be the biggest racist since Adolph Hitler.

What is interesting now, is that it is very similar to what we are hearing to be true.

How do we know what's true and what isn't? All we're hearing are accounts from people who take Brown's side and people who take Wilson's side.

In short...action always beats reaction. That is why taser wires are 21 feet...because if someone is within that distance, they can get to you before you can process what is happening and react...

Here is what we do know about Sargent Darren Wilson.

Sounds like ol' Nate (and now the rest of the internet) knows more about Wilson's family now than I know about mine......

I don't feel that was necessary and in fact consider it a gross invasion of not only Darren Wilson's privacy but that of all the family members who were scrutinized.

He’s a sergeant? That just upped the ante a bit. He’s a supervisor.

I don’t know what happened that night, so I’m trying to remain neutral until more facts come out — if they come out. I do know that the police have to make snap judgments in a split second. If a suspect is coming toward you, you don’t know whether he might try to strike you or take your weapon. If a suspect reaches into his pocket, you don’t know if he’s reaching for his wallet, cell phone or a weapon. These fools who criticize the police ought to try to do their job every day. I’d like to see whether they could think and react any better. Probably not.

It hurts in unbelievable ways to lose a child, no matter what age. It is also normal for those who are closest to the child to only believe in the goodness that most children possess and not all adults have.

In the case of Michael Brown, everything I have read suggests the opposite reason for his death than the claimed reason. His family and most of the protesters claim it was murder. It was probably unintentional suicide.

There is a correlation between taking cigars from a weaker person and attempting to take a gun from a perceived weaker person. We can’t go into the mind of “Big Mike” but we can read his writing, witness the disregard for authority he demonstrated, and the results.

Some big people take great pride in their ability to brush aside more vulnerable ones.

It seems that he set himself up for his demise by assuming a bully role in dealing with the policeman.

Someone posted this morning that witnesses are now coming forward to corroborate this story. I don’t know if those witnesses are black or white. For the sake of the black community (and what little is left of race relations in the Ferguson community), I hope they are black.

As the truth begins to emerge about this incident and the true character of “the gentle giant”, there must be a surrender to those facts, to that truth. It is one of the things that holds a society together. Barring this, the black community continues to lose credibility, continue to bleed (what little) support they have in the white community, and continue to separate themselves from those who practice decency and respect.

Must be one hell of a slow runner if he fell about 2 or 3 feet in front of facing the officer. Didn’t even have time to turn around.

Many years ago I went shooting with a state trooper. He told me a story of how he and his supervisor each had their weapons drawn on a guy 50 feet away. Before he knew it, that knife was sticking in his chest (bulletproof vest on, as I recall).

I was a sprinter in HS. Could go from dead stop to 50' in about 1.7 seconds. 10' gives a person about enough time to realize that they just screwed up by letting an assailant too close to them.

Please explain how what you described is possible. Not saying it isn’t, but the way you wrote it seems impossible.

We still don’t know ANYTHING about Michael Brown. No thorough detail research done on Brown by ‘journalists’ as in this article on Wilson.

Granted, Brown a yute, we won’t know any criminal record. But somehow Michael Brown’s whole life condensed to just the one day Aug 9th.

Well, the legal larceny crowd grew its teeth on Zimmerman...they will now gnaw off a major meal from Ferguson.

I am sure when Brown was on his way to his grandmother’s, reading from his pocket bible and accosted by the officer, he was heard to say: Can’t we all just get along.
