The family of an unarmed black teenager who was shot dead by a police officer has hired the same civil rights lawyer who represents the family of Trayvon Martin.
Michael Brown died after being shot multiple times by a police officer in Ferguson, a suburb of St Louis after an altercation involving the officer, Mr Brown and another man on Saturday.
The killing has drawn criticism from some civil rights leaders, who have referred to the 2012 racially charged shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by a Florida neighborhood watch organizer who was acquitted of murder charges.
Now it has emerged that Benjamin Crump, the attorney who represents the family of Trayvon Martin is now to represent Mr Brown's family.
According to 10 News, Mr Crump, from Tallahasse, Florida, will join Mr Brown's family at a press conference later today, which will be held at a church in Jennings, Missouri....
Michael Brown's death has drawn parallels to that of Martin's and how his family also hired Mr Crump after the 17-year-old was shot dead as he walked from a convenience store to his father's condo in Sanford, Florida....
Meanwhile, a vigil which was held for 18-year-old Brown in Ferguson on Sunday descended into chaos, with shop windows being smashed and goods being looted....

Well good. Now, maybe the looters will give back the property they stole.
How can he possibly have passed the bar in every state?
Another publicity boost for the Victim Industrial Complex. The Revs should be making appearances soon.
We had an officer shooting here in AR that went down similar to this (3 homies trying to disarm deputy), and the deputy shot and wounded one perp and the others fled.
Deputy swears he saw a gun....none found. However, his dashcam caught a glimmer of homie reaching into his waistband and pulling out...get this....Desert Eagle .50 AE. A month later, there was a car found with two dead white meth-heads it it with extraordinary massive headwounds. Ballistics and shell casings showed that a .50 AE round was used by perp in back seat to murder two drug dealers.
Anyways, someone "snitched" and the perp was caught eventually. For days and days, people were hounding original shooting of the "three little black teens" UNARMED, when the dashcam, FINALLY proved that they weren't sweet little angels out buying skrittles and eye-tee.

Business owners are telling stories of how local residents came down to help them protect their property from the looters while 100 police cars sat in a local Walmart scared out of their wits and afraid to do anything.
As you look at this picture remember that the photographer told the looters to put their shirt over their face before he snapped the shot.
Have they started flashing photos of him from his grammar school days?
Bar License??? Bar License???
He don’t got to show nobody no Bar License.
The interview only spoke of one shot. I will try to find more.
I can not find evidence that he’s licensed in Florida, let alone Missouri. I will keep looking.
Cops should stay in their squad cars for twenty years until they get their pensions that work in these s***hole areas!
Yes they have --
They are showing pictures of him when he was about 13
How did you guess.
Waiting for the blowing out the birthday cake candles at the kitchen table photo.
"The officer tried to leave his vehicle just before the shooting on Saturday afternoon, but Brown pushed him back into the car, "where he physically assaulted the police officer" and struggled over the officer's weapon, Belmar said.
A shot was fired inside the police car, and Brown was eventually shot about 35 feet away from the vehicle, Belmar said, adding few details because he didn't want to "prejudice" the case.
All shell casings collected at the scene were from the officer's weapon, Belmar said. He further said the medical examiner would issue a ruling on how many times Brown was shot, but "it was more than just a couple."
