The family of an unarmed black teenager who was shot dead by a police officer has hired the same civil rights lawyer who represents the family of Trayvon Martin.
Michael Brown died after being shot multiple times by a police officer in Ferguson, a suburb of St Louis after an altercation involving the officer, Mr Brown and another man on Saturday.
The killing has drawn criticism from some civil rights leaders, who have referred to the 2012 racially charged shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by a Florida neighborhood watch organizer who was acquitted of murder charges.
Now it has emerged that Benjamin Crump, the attorney who represents the family of Trayvon Martin is now to represent Mr Brown's family.
According to 10 News, Mr Crump, from Tallahasse, Florida, will join Mr Brown's family at a press conference later today, which will be held at a church in Jennings, Missouri....
Michael Brown's death has drawn parallels to that of Martin's and how his family also hired Mr Crump after the 17-year-old was shot dead as he walked from a convenience store to his father's condo in Sanford, Florida....
Meanwhile, a vigil which was held for 18-year-old Brown in Ferguson on Sunday descended into chaos, with shop windows being smashed and goods being looted....

Not sure what happened with this shooting, however I am quite quite sure the looting broke many laws by many people.
Someone with photoshop needs to resurect the Lootie Guy in St Louis. Perhaps near the Arch.
She added that she doesn't understand why police didn't subdue her son with a club or Taser
I think we're going to find out that like Trayvon Martin that this kid was no boyscout --
They act like being “unarmed” equals zero threat.
Here we go again. It’s Summer, and there isn’t enough White Guilt before the fall elections.
Reports are that Michael Brown shoved an officer into a squad car as the officer was attempting to exit the car.
Not at all comparable to Trayvon Martin.

Either that or it would be the first legitimate job the lawyer ever got...
This appears to be one big kid that probably dwarfed the officer.
Local called into the radio station saying that this kid may have been 18 but that he had priors.
Crump will establish a LIE as a legend. The lie must be immediately countered before it can become legend.
“Reports are that Michael Brown shoved an officer into a squad car as the officer was attempting to exit the car.
Not at all comparable to Trayvon Martin.”
Exactly comparable to Travon. Tell me the basic difference between shoving a cop in a squad car and throwing a much smaller man on the ground, straddling him and bashing his head on the pavement. Both cases are exactly the same, no possible reason to rule it anything but self defense.
Per the officer there was a struggle for the gun in his front seat where one bullet was fired.

The yute had no arms?
We saw how well he did for Trayvon

Another race baiter looking for a career.
I believe it was the Chief who gave an interview and said that the investigation was that the suspect shoved the officer into the car and tried to get his weapon. There was a struggle and one shot was fired.
I would not rebuild there. I would let these animals live in the ruins they create. I would cut off all funds to welfare in that area, and there should have immediately been called martial law and a shoot on sight all looters when this began.
If there was ever a reason for standard capacity magazines, handguns and semi-automatic rifles, look here.
One shot was fired in the car while the rest [8 I think] were fired 35 feet from there.
